Keyboards are sadly no more with us since most of the companies think of them that they aint useful.
How valuable will cheap smartphones be if data plans still cost a fucking arm and leg? The reason most people get feature phones is because its cheaper just for calls and texts
you need to live in a country that has more than 2/3 carriers
Keyboards are sadly no more with us since most of the companies think of them that they aint useful.
Just wait for phones to get that nifty stuff that makes the completely flat surface raise up into actual 3D bumps when you want to type, then goes back to completely flat again as if they were never there I wouldn't mind having something like that purely as a keyboard. Just replace my keyboard with a long LCD touchscreen with raised buttons

Would that be any cheaper than buying an older phone of the same specs?
I can't be the only person who thinks the Motor E looks ugly?
I can't be the only person who thinks the Motor E looks ugly?
Can't be as bad as the S5.
How valuable will cheap smartphones be if data plans still cost a fucking arm and leg? People stick with feature phones because they can't afford a $70 Verizon bill every month.
In July I'll be paying $40/m for 4GB of data and unlimited calls and text to anyone within Australia on a BYO phone deal Probably the only real value plan in this stupid Country, phone plans are too expensive and contain really ridiculous data caps like Optus who still gives 200mb to people who want the cheapest iPhone/Samsung plan
This. In America, data plans cost a lot. People stick with feature phones because they can't afford a $70 Verizon bill every month.
I wish i could just get a smartphone without a data plan. Everywhere i go has wifi anyway
Im sick of my slow 278mb ram phone, i should consider it.
Sadly its not like that over here in the US...
I don't know about that $30/mo for calls/data/text, the data is at LTE and unlimited and the texting is too. Only 100 minutes Alternatively, $45/mo for worse quality data (but still a decent cap and speed) and unlimited talk/text Really not that bad. I own a Moto G next to my HTC One (M8) for festivals and such. Great phone for the money.
Decent phone, basically a Lumia 521 with Android instead of windows and 512Mb more RAM, though the 521 can be upgraded with 64Gb of storage and is still $50 cheaper
Why is everyone rating this dumb? The two phones are almost identical and they're both really cheap smartphones. They're going to be each other's biggest competitors with the deciding factor only being which OS you prefer Moto E has 512MB more RAM but uses Android, which uses more RAM than the 29MB Windows needs on the 521. The 521 can be upgraded up to 64GB of storage instead of 32, and comes with 8GB of storage instead of 4. The screen's only 0.3in different, they both use Snapgragon dual core CPUs with only a 200Mhz difference, the camera's the same for pictures and video Moto E is $130, the 521 with T-Mobile's Simcard is $90-100, or $65 with MetroPCS While I think Windows 8 on a phone is super good and smooth, Android is still better just because of the functionality of the OS itself and with Apps. Flip a coin because for the amount of money you pay both of these phones are huge value per dollar spent compared to other phones
You think that's cheap? If this is to end "feature phones" then it is no where fucking near cheap when you an get better for $60 on Alibaba including postage.
HTC one v best cheap phone
Gee thanks Motorola, now I feel bad for shitting 143€ for a dual sim galaxy trend... And it doesn't even has 500mb of RAM...
I wish i could just get a smartphone without a data plan. Everywhere i go has wifi anyway
In a lot of places, you can. Hell, in a lot of places, you can get a phone without any plan, and use it with whatever carrier and tariff you wish. UK is one of them, and that's probably what that price is for.
