Being behind the toilet paper is a great idea for after using the diapers.
The kid may have just enjoyed the challenge, when I was younger I used to want to be homeless so I'd spend a night in the garden if it was raining. I'd make a den out of cardboard and other junk a hobo would have access to so the rain would ruin it and I'd have a terrible nights sleep on purpose.
