They don't hate both in equal measure then.
democracy is great but only when it gets me the outcome that I want is the message im getting from these protesters
what children
A sizable portion of them have not reached majority. They were not consulted and have all the rights in the world to be displeased by either perspective, and make it known.
it's not a popularity poll, it's a voting poll. A lot of people hate Macron but will pick the least of evils. It doesn't mean he's popular.
I've talked to a Melenchon voter (anecdote, I know) who says Macron is evil and will not be voting in the second round. Wouldn't be surprised if voter apathy somehow plays a role in Le Pen winning, it happened with Trump and history does have a habit of repeating itself.
I very highly doubt Le Pen is going to win and I say that as a mostly right-wing person.
Right wing people would be better off with Macron anyway, Le Pen's policies would lead to financial ruin.
i just hope macron wont win. saying people have to live in fear of terrorist attacks? are you kidding me?

What, you have an actual plan to completely prevent terrorist attacks from occuring? Past events have shown all you need is a truck or even a car.
People who promise they'll get rid of terrorism like it's as easy as snapping your fingers are the ones you should be suspicious about.
"National Preference" and all the other racist shit the Nazi cunt promises to do will lead to way more terrorist attacks, if anything.
I don't believe this abstention will prevent Macron from winning by a landslide. A considerable portion of the left will vote to affirm their opposition to the authoritarian ideals of the Front National.
There was no voiced neocon support behind her before Nicolas Dupont-Aignan (DLR) joined her in the second turn. Party officials are being excluded from Les Républicains (conservative establishment) for voicing their support for Le Pen in turn 2. Therefore granting her no partisan vote from the gaullist majority.
Furthermore you can only get so far trying to paint yourself in the likeness of Joan of Arc. The most reactionary figures of the far right will contribute to this abstention, as they can't compute having their ideals be embodied by an emancipated woman who went through multiple divorces. We're not actively trying to converge with these asshats, before anyone asks. What I'm trying to convey is that for a woman to win was always unlikely.
Debate's on may the third. If I turn out to be full of shit and Macron gets ate up like Ségolène Royal did in 2007 there despite his thick, throbbing male privilege, I might cave in, pinch my nose, and walk two miles to and from the polling station on may the 7th just to make sure the ungrateful little prick gets his turn to play.
He could, for instance, instantly up his ratings by two digits by proposing asylum for whistleblowers which was a hotly debated issue leading up to turn one but was evicted -along with candidates that demanded asylum for assange- on the night of the 23rd. Accessing any pluripartisan demand would be a first step into his so-called transgression of party lines, but the little nagger keeps playing.

I mean, you do you if you're confident in somewhat predicting voter turnout on the 7th. I wouldn't mind Macron winning by a tiny margin either. Just keep in mind you'll have nobody to blame but yourself if your predictions turn out not to be true.
At least that's a better stance to have than those who don't want to vote no matter what and claim they'll "take to the streets" should Le Pen win. Bunch of armchair activist retards.

I'm not going to take a chance on having everybody do what I should be doing too.
Bystander effect is a thing and despite my reluctance to do so, I'll vote for EM.
And I think you should too.
