One of our celestial neighbors knows that we're in need of clean drinking water for the humans in hardship of our world, they're only donations :smith:
Good thing our distress messages were out before they managed to get to them. [sp]Voyager and Pioneer[/sp]
Even then the answer is still the same.
Uhh didn't they say it would have to be close to Jupiter's mass.
OH FUCK OH FUCK THE REAPERS ARE COMING caps
Uhh didn't they say it would have to be close to Jupiter's mass.
Pretty far away still though.
scary, couldn't this effect the orbit of planets? pardon my ignorance if that was a stupid question.
It does, by small amounts. The distance is probably tens of thousands of AUs, while Jupiter's is only 5 AUs. Its effect on us is 10^-8 of that of Jupiter's. At such a great distance it orbits really slowly and the effect distorts the system in approximately one direction during human timescales. It doesn't create a wobble like the other large masses in the system. Such a wobble I think would be a bit more noticeable.
I bet it's Shaddow Brooker.
Its earth's asshole neighbour.
I guess the Nibiru theorists were right.
Wait, I though we were in the Oort Cloud...
The scientists believe there is a hidden companion of the sun based somewhere near the Oort Cloud system that is hurling ice particles and rock towards the inner solar system.
:psyduck:
Nibiru 2012 The end is near
I guess the Nibiru theorists were right.
More like the Nemesis.
It's pluto's big brother, and he's PISSED.
pluto went to the gym after being kicked out. now its back to duel earth
pluto went to the gym after being kicked out. now its back to duel earth
Still not a planet
Obligatory Reapers and "Ah yes Reapers" here [img_thumb]http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100206110822/masseffect/images/6/69/Reaper_fleet.png[/img_thumb]
Incorrect, it's the Turians attempting a crude preemptive strike.
What a dick.
Maybe it's some bigass planet that 'sucks' comets into its orbit and then flings them into our solar system?
Galactus?
scary, couldn't this effect the orbit of planets? pardon my ignorance if that was a stupid question.
"companion of the sun" implies that it's been here since the start, so presumably any effects it has are part of the planets' standard orbits.
Wait, I though we were in the Oort Cloud... [img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/03/Kuiper_oort.jpg[/img_thumb] :psyduck:
In this case, 'in' means 'inside the cloud', not 'in the middle of'. The Oort cloud is a giant hollowed out sphere that orbits Sol. In 2D terms, we're in the hole on the CD that is an unimaginably huge disc of giant rocks. The Dark Object is in the silver bit.
bug meteorite.
Pluto's Dad is not happy that we have demoted him.
Xenu is coming, Xenu is coming!!! Nah it's probably just the glorft, we need to find Coop and Megas. Anyway I bet it's nemesis, no bullshit, it's our second sun.
Gabe ?
How do you find planets in other solar systems, and even moon sized planets in the Oort cloud, but not a Jupiter sized planet there?
whatever it is, it's being a dick
It's all good, our glorious leader Kim Jong-Il will save us.
