I'm almost positive this is what's going to result from all of this. The internet is the wild west, but the government is going to crack down on it eventually.
I wouldn't be surprised if, some time from now, some politician is going to propose internet regulation or termination of usernames or any other forms of online anonimity, using this as an argument.
Wikipedia states him as a overly patriotic hacktivist. He attacked Taliban(?) recruitment sites, Wikileaks, and a few others that weren't worth mentioning apparently. He could be ex forces, but nobody is exactly sure from what i understand.
He sounds like a real tough badass.

i voted for stephen harper now he pulls this shit
what an asshole
He knows what he is doing, and isn't in it for the e-cred from his history. He just fights for his beliefs and country from the looks of it. Hard to have an certain opinion on him for me.
We need to get them to DDoS a no-ip domain, saying it is the biggest gaming server or whatever, and then change the no-ip thing to their IP.
Won't have much of an effect; they're hosted on a cloud network.
holy shit nakomis was born where i was.
i'm getting a time machine and a gun.
LulzSec Members: http://lulzsecexposed.blogspot.com/
Think this was already posted, but reposting for anyone who may have missed it (I just woke up so it's new to me).
Lol, did they really think their shitty firewall would protect them from Jester? Anyone involved in the underground of hacking knows who Jester is, so I'm beginning to wonder what gave them balls enough to provoke him. I mean, they're clearly fucked at this point.
Not surprised to see they're all young, no-life nerds though. wouldnotdate
Did you really believe these kiddies were part of the underground?
If they really are young, they've completely ruined their lives. this isn't the matrix, where hackers are ultimate badasses, no, hackers are dicks (most of them, jester seems to be an exception).
Thinking of alerting the local authorities about the dutch kid who's part of Lulzsec, he lives close to where I live.
Thing is, I don't know if I want to get involved.
Payphone

I'm not sure how much we can trust any information about their members we get, so I wouldn't act on it.
I miss the days when fat nerds that got bullied by jocks would just snap and shoot up their school.
Now they act out on their one refuge? Where's the logic in that?

Might be a good idea to give leads to the police though, they can begin piecing the puzzle together and confirm/deny leads. They might have info from other anonymous tipsters that we aren't aware of; you never know.
Also, I do suggest tipping the police Paralegal, but try to find a way to do so as discrete and anonymously as possible. Payphone, disguise your voice, don't give out your name. Maybe leave a note for the police anonymously?

It's better to alert the authorities to a suspicion than let it lie. If the person really isn't involved, then it's no loss, the suspect can go free. If they are involved, that's one down.

So you would rather people KILLED instead of some money taken away?

Though, it appears like authorities do not give a shit.

The Dutch appear to be quite quick in responding to cyber "crime". I am pretty sure it is them who arrested someone for stealing virtual items.
I haven't read all of the pages in this thread so I am sorry if this has already been asked, but in another thread I saw some stuff suggesting that Adrian Lamo owns one of the domains Lulz Sec uses / used / planned to use, is there any truth to this or is it just crazy bullshit?

If you miss the deaths of innocent students, you're a sick person.

If you miss obvious sarcasm at the first line, you're a dense person.

I thought that was Belgium.

Sorry if this has been posted before I read the last two or three pages and didn't see it though.
Ive been lucky so far personally, but this is getting very annoying.
I thought that was Belgium.
Could be, but I distinctly recall someone getting arrested after stealing somebody's shit in HH.
Someone should post a recap of what has happened so far
We need to get them to DDoS a no-ip domain, saying it is the biggest gaming server or whatever, and then change the no-ip thing to their IP.
I'm pretty sure they aren't stupid enough to attack a DNS, surely they would resolve it to an IP address first.
I said in another another thread that hackers like this are "losers and scum" only to get a flood of people disagreeing and telling me to get out?
I said in another another thread that hackers like this are "extremely likable and better than you" only to get a flood of people disagreeing and telling me to get out?
You disgust me, understand that? These guys are possibly the second worst kind of human being possible, especially considering their motivations. The worst kind are those sick bastards in several African regions who think that raping virgins will cure them of their deadly STDs.
Two different posts?

To be honest, I was expecting a snip.
