I don't care whether someone drives it or not. I just think when you get to the point where you're making THAT much money, that's the point where people should be charged 75%. A million Euros will pay for a decently sized house. Nothing like that though.
And so all the millionaires took their millions elsewhere, the end.

That's exactly what is going to happen, it happened with France when they did something similar to this. And the same will happen to America if this would ever happen.

Does France have a different tax rate on investments like the US? Because if the millionaires are getting their money not through investments rather than income, would this increase apply to them?

I think that if a man earned his money he shouldn't have them taken from him. Why should Mr X pay give away 75% of his profits just because Mr. Y failed at life?

Just read an article about French guys moving to London to avoid this tax. People will just try and avoid the taxes if they're too high. I think 45-50% is the best top tier for tax.

The solution would be that every country with a proper banking system all jacks up the taxes for insanely rick individuals.
Keep the excessive part of your wealth invested in the country, or you'll end up paying it off as tax either way.
