mfw the hackings are still going on.
How about even making the HDD connector in their desktops proprietary?
They're even worse than Dell when it comes to using proprietary solutions and designs in their computers.
I could understand it back when they were using PowerPC CPU's, since they were pretty much all alone at doing that.
But now it's just silly.
They hacked Apple because they couldn't hack Microsoft.

Well Microsoft is used to it, so obviously they have security measures in place.
Reason Apple USED to be secure, is simply because hackers didn't wanna mess with a small fish, when they could harpoon a big whale like Microsoft Windows.
But with Apple getting a bigger and bigger market share, they better ramp up security measures fast, or their system(s) will be more unsecure than a vanilla Windows XP Install

You mean we'll have another Sony incident?
Buh-duh chh!
But on a serious note, I hope the hacker group crashes and burns. I, personally, would be their executioner for holding my favorite game developers hostage (Bethesda) and threatening my all time favorite: Valve.
All these hacker groups must be really lonely i mean holy crap.
This is what I was looking for.
This right here is a valid reason to dislike a company.
I also completely agree that this is a bastard move on their part.
Or maybe banning apps then stealing the idea?
The fuck is with all these gray hats doing shit all of a sudden?
Why the fuck are the feds sitting with their thumbs up their asses? I'm pretty sure it can't be that hard for the goddamn FBI or even the CIA mofo's to catch a couple of random nerds that have nothing better to do than fuck around with companies and people's info.

They give files to their followers and their followers do whatever from their computer or a public place (such as a library/media center). It's hard to find them.

If you're talking about the wireless sync feature, that app developer wasn't the first person to think of it.
My Zune HD had wireless sync way before it was a twinkle that developer OR Apple's eye.
Apple also attemped to hire said dev.
