this is where we differ, but now we're onto black women voices, alicia keys talking voice is awesome

even though she's mixed race but it doesn't matter
i didnt rate you disagree either
I thought he came out on top. The show wasn't about politicians answering questions, it was just one big circlejerk, with everyone going "Mr. Griffin, why are you such a bell end?" Everyone else was just yelling at him, while he laughed it off. It were as if everyone else were the bubbling geyser of hate, and he ended up earning a bit of pathos.
Of course, when he complained to the BBC and made his "London's full of foreigners" speech (which would have been better in song) he pissed it all up the wall.
PS Churchill would have been in the BNP, he was a disgusting racist, and pretty much invented the modern Jewish Conspiracy.
im just sayin i didnt really like her because of her accent, even though some of the stuff she said was quite funny
"I don't like her accent so she can't have a opinion on British politics"

lol fair enough
I liked the part where she told Griffin about the Africans and Asians the Romans left in England.

I didnt say her opinion didnt matter, i just said I didnt like her accent

yeah she was funny and put him in his place in most things she said, personally the best thing was when Jack Straw told him that he could explain why he "used to" deny the holocaust because he's the justice secretary.
lol fair enough

Yeah, what did happen to them? Presumably they either left with the Romans, or all died of rickets in the agriculture vacuum.
This wasn't question time, this was "Bash Nick Griffin because you don't agree with him". Now I'm no fan of the BNP, but the way he was treated was appauling, he didn't even get a proper chance to speak.
Kinda reminded me of Maury.
It was a joke because he has a dodgy eye.
So does Gordon Brown.

It was kinda sad really. I was looking foreward to learning about their other policies apart from their racist posterface, but everyone just ganged up. Not that I object, but I was curious. I liked how he couldn't form a coherent story and that it's not all about skin colour, but mixed race families are a big no-no. :raise:
I liked the part where she told Griffin about the Africans and Asians the Romans left in England.
Yeah just a shame it was ruined really by the fact she was wrong. Oh well. *Shakes head, whistles and walks away*
Summary:
Nick gets questioned
Nick is told he is pretty much Hitler
Nick randomly insults Jack Straw's dad
Nick fails to hold up against questioning
Nick doesn't deny denying the holocaust
Nick is best buddies with the KKK
Nick fails more and gets visibly angry at the black woman beside him who jokes about him, looks like he wants to hit her.
Tories are briefly attacked
Tories link attack to Nick
Nick says gays are perverse
Insert various minorities in the audience getting rounds of applause when they debunk various Nickrages and you have Question Time 22/10/09.
Throughout the whole programme he looked furious and like some child trying to laugh along with people laughing at him and butting into people.
If it were a news article for example about the BNP, then we wouldn't have a problem with it, it is the fact that this party is allowed on a programme with other parties such as Labour, the Liberal Democrats and the Conservatives, and that the BBC are acting as if the BNP's views are acceptable and should be aired.
Who are you to say what is an "acceptable opinion". What if someone decided supporting gay rights wasn't an "acceptable opinion"?
Deeming somebody's ideas as "unacceptable" is suppressive and dangerous.
This wasn't question time, this was "Bash Nick Griffin because you don't agree with him". Now I'm no fan of the BNP, but the way he was treated was appauling, he didn't even get a proper chance to speak.
He knew what he was in for and he had plenty of chances to speak.
I saw it on Iplayer, He's somewhat of a joke, but i wish they didn't focus the entire bloody thing on nick griffin, we all know how much of a twatted joke he is.
And i just watched the video of people protesting, they really aren't helping their side very much, from what they did it seems the choices are join the racist weirdo's or join the poo flinging weirdo's.
And that woman who was screaming that the bbc protect the fascists needs a violent decapitation for her sheer stupidity. What did she really think she was going to do if they let her inside? Scream in nicks face untill he walked away? Brilliant way of tackling the issue of the BNP. These protestors piss me off.

You've just demonstrated how little you know about broadcasting. The BBC HAS to let the BNP on to their show because it is a public sector broadcast channel and MUST keep and even and unbiased opinion on everything, showing everyones views equally.
Nick randomly insults Jack Straw's dad
It wasn't random, he was saying, "you can't say I'm a nazi when my dad put his life on the line to fight against them, whereas yours was in jail because he refused to", bit of a stupid thing to say but that's what he was going for.
Anyone who thinks that Griffin did any better than getting absolutely annhilated is probably a closet racist and BNP supporter.
hth
disagreeing with this also makes you a closet racist or BNP supporter.

The BNP dosent want to see their country go down the drain.
The BBC HAS to let the BNP on to their show because it is a public sector broadcast channel and MUST keep and even and unbiased opinion on everything, showing everyones views equally.
Even so, the BBC does NOT keep an even and unbiased opinion on everything and does not show everyones views equally.
Freedom of speech.
If you knew this guy and what his party wants, you would think again, some people shouldn't have an influential opinion. He basically wants Britain to be pro-Britain. He wants anybody who isn't even slightly British out of the country, if you look at the BNP manifesto you will see that by Nationalists, they mean Nazi type Nationalists.
I love it how "anti-fascists" ironically want to censor all that they do not agree with.

Well, since he/they live in a democratic country it is a right to express whatever you want. It's not that he'll ever gain the majority of the British votes, and even if he did, it would (in my opinion) be rather hard for them to remove everyone from the island.
LOL at the quote inset on the article, I just now noticed it
"I'm not racist, I've got loads of coloured friends but when every second house is African, they're moving in, got two cars, bought houses, what can you say?"
Middle aged man, Dagenham
bleh. So, the BBC have inadvertently increased the support people have for the BNP by putting Griffin in a studio full of Lefties and Tories.
:bravo:

Yup, they're very left-wing when it comes to politics, and C4 news is right-wing. fairly common knowledge.

They currently have no seats for the british parliament but they have 2 seats for the EU parliament
I doubt it'll do any difference, just like the Swedish Pirate Party. I wouldn't really worry about them.
LOL at the quote inset on the article, I just now noticed it
I'm not racist I just don't want lots of black people to live here.
Huh?
LOL at the quote inset on the article, I just now noticed it
Did he put his name down as 'Middle aged man'?
He basically wants Britain to be pro-Britain.
That is a weird way of putting it.
That is a weird way of putting it.
Pro-Britain as in if you aren't 100% British, fuck off
