What if there isn't anywhere to reincarnate to?
1 in 1800 chances to hit us by 2182, money well spent.
It's an astronomical chance that the human race is fucking exterminated.
Watch as Global Warming related effects kill off most of the civilized world by then and we don't even get a chance to stop it
Thanks, CaNASA
Just rename it to NASA.
North American Space Agency.
Is he? That's what bugs me about the idea of reincarnation: If his memory and personality is wiped, isn't that essential no different from just dying forever and some other person being born?
i always thought the idea with reincarnation is that even though your memory is wiped after being reincarnated, flow of consciousness continues?
1 in 1800 chances to hit us by 2182, money well spent.
because money will be so valuable if an asteroid does hit

People dislike the idea of being erased forever.
Wooo Canada rules! We're gonna send hockeynauts up there to cover the asteroid in maple syrup, toss some beavers on it then slapshot it into the sun :v:
We'll send our hockeynauts up in the space shuttle "Take off eh, ya hoser"
1 in 1800 chances to hit us by 2182, money well spent.
We're always going to find excuses to not go to space. "Oh but there's a war," "there's a poverty problem," "we're in debt," but if we continue with that mindset when the time finally comes that we HAVE to go space and we can't make any more excuses it's already going to be far too late.
How many idiots are going to sell and give away all their possession this time citing the end of the world?

What are the odds or reincarnating on the same planet you just lived a life on ?

100%
ask any religion that, I can quote you scriptures.

If there's anything Ace Combat and Kerbal Space Program taught us, it's that redirecting it is a much better idea :v:
Good luck future people. We'll long be gone before then.
Good luck future people. We'll long be gone before then.
but we might be reincarnated
maybe
Just throw Bieber at it.
It'll turn around.
If anyone can do it... NASA CAN.
Canada-san
If reincarnation exists, you're fucked.
But, as far as i know, you can reincarnate in anything, not just human, so what if you will reincarnate as this very asteroid?

..What WOULD happen if an asteroid collides with the sun? Would anything significant happen or would it just burn up.
..What WOULD happen if an asteroid collides with the sun? Would anything significant happen or would it just burn up.
It would burn up long before it even reached the sun so that's moot.
..What WOULD happen if an asteroid collides with the sun? Would anything significant happen or would it just burn up.
Sun is approximately a 11300000000000000000 cubic kilometers of pure nuclear fire. And this asteroid is approx. a 0.52 cubic kilometers of stone. Just imagine this.
The answer is pretty obvious imo: nothing will happen.

That made me pretty emotional :(. Besides, the game might have flopped, but they nailed the intro.
1 in 1800 chances to hit us by 2182, money well spent.
Yeah I agree, let's wait until we're sure it's gonna hit us so that it's too late to do anything about it.
Also did you somehow not see the part about actually studying the asteroid at the same time?
Nuke the fucker
Send up Bruce Willis.
Man 2182 sounds so futuristic. I feel weird now.

Less than nothing
1 in 1800 chances to hit us by 2182, money well spent.
by comparison most asteroids have a 1 in few million chance of hitting us by sooner so...as far as things go, if it still is on an intercept, its great we have over 150 years to hit it with something, lets hope we just don't forget

probably a sun-spot and a big solar flair, not much else, remember the sun is big but unstable
