A stealth action game. Offers you a good variety of weapons and abilities. Plenty of bonus stuff to collect if you explore a lot.
I'm thinking of getting NoLimits2...
The sale hit on the same day I got paid.
I'm scared for my wallet
Aaaaand there goes my rent
Is Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 worth the regular price, let alone sale price?
I'll ask this again.
If anyone is planning on buying Shadow of Mordor on steam bundle stars is doing it for slightly cheaper with all the DLC too.

is South Park the Stick of Truth worth it?

If you like South Park
What is dishonored like?

Dishonored is a stealth action-adventure video game set in the fictional, plague-ridden industrial city of Dunwall. Dishonored follows the story of Corvo Attano, bodyguard to the Empress of the Isles. He is framed for her murder and forced to become an assassin, seeking revenge on those who conspired against him.
The game is played from a first-person perspective and allows the player to undertake a series of assassination missions in a variety of ways, with an emphasis on player choice. Missions can be completed through stealth, combat, or a combination of both. Exploring each level opens new paths and alternatives for accomplishing mission goals, and it is possible to complete all missions, eliminating all of Corvo's targets, in a non-lethal manner. The story and missions are changed in response to the player's violent actions or lack thereof. Magical abilities and equipment are designed to be combined to create new and varied effects.
It's one of the better stealth action games to come out in a long while and I'd recommend playing it.
is South Park the Stick of Truth worth it?
If you'd enjoy an turn-based RPG with crude but rather hilarious humor that plays out exactly as a south park episode would.
Then yes.
is South Park the Stick of Truth worth it?
It's a massive South Park episode with SMRPG elements. If you like South Park humor, buy it asap.
is Dying light any good?
is Dying light any good?
Yeah but it starts off really shit. If you can stomach the game until the first night and until you unlock dropkicking, you have a really, really fun game and it gets even better when you unlock the grappling hook
is Dying light any good?
It has excellent parkour, very good melee combat, and a decent enough crafting system.
It's story is lacklustre, and you won't really care much about it at the highest points, but navigating the world, and moving around in it are brilliant. It has a great leveling curve that has you feeling scared and helpless against hordes of zombies at the beginning, and based on the difficulty, you can keep that feeling all game, or work to overcome it and become a ruthless slaughterer of zombies by the horde. Up to you.
It's also getting a graphical update for free with the next piece of DLC, "The Following". I highly recommend it personally. It's open world, and like all open world games, is kind of "Empty" in a way.
is Dying light any good?
I had a ton of fun playing it, but I'd recommend playing it with friends. Can go through the entire story co-op (up to the ending, which is one of those things where everyone gets put in their own single-player instance).
It's also fun as hell to find all the different things you can climb with friends. Spent about two hours climbing on the bridge just to jump off into the river multiple times.
Shit I spent more money, though the long dark and the beginers guide, and the consuming shadow I should get 200-500 hours of game fun for less than $30
Got Legend of Korra and Sniper Elite 3. Korra is weird as fuck, it has compulsory Temple Run levels with Naga.

Hope you aren't counting beginners guide as a big portion of that.
Hope you aren't counting beginners guide as a big portion of that.
Naw, I just finished that, It's a tiny portion though it's better than both of them.
Long Dark is the big one and the consuming shadow has daily things once I get through the stuff I want to get done.
Any idea when the steam winter sale encore starts?
Any idea when the steam winter sale encore starts?
It starts about 2 days ago.
So steam is no long doing daily deals in their major sales? Kind of disappointing.

Yet i can still play CS:GO without ever giving a shit about its micro transactions.
You can pay any game with microtransactions without caring about microtransactions.
Yet, even at best (when the items don't give an advantage) the users are still tempted and goaded into spending money.
Yes, I can resist the allure of microtransactions, but that means having to spend effort into resisting as I play, souring a part of the experience for me.
No, my self control is not adamantine, but that doesn't make it okay to abuse this attribute of mine.
Let's just go back to expansions please.

Is heard the kind of kicked modding in the teeth though.

Hurtworld's price went up again.
Estimated price on January 4: $60.
EDIT: Just realized that the image on page 3 was in pounds. it's still the same price.

Hahahha
You dick.
The first few levels of Dishonored hold your hand like you're a baby, and if I recall correctly the second mission starts you off in the same area as the first so the early stages are nothing to shout about. After that the game's great though, the only real downside is that you're discouraged from using the cool weapons it gives you.
If you pay for a game there should be no excuse for any sort of microtransactions at all, ever. CS:GO, KF2, the microtransactions are all complete rubbish.
In CSGO's case it helped it from bombing and boosted its popularity.

And the game has only become more shit. If your game is "saved" by microtransactions and skins you have fucked up, and are only helping an anti-consumer practice proliferate.
CS:GO and the community surrounding skins is absolutely disgusting.

Popularity is far from a marker of quality anyway lmao

It's only shit because of the community, as a game it's solid.

Valve (and Hidden Path) didn't fuck up though, they made a worthy CS successor. The community was dwindling but in 2012 Valve revamped competitive into what it is today and the game saw a boost in popularity, which is what "saved" it. Skins were introduced a year later, they don't intrude on the gameplay and if you don't want them you can sell what you get. How has the game become more shit?

hahaha look at these poor people enjoying a game and having trading as a hobby.
they're just being played by bad practices and they're all garbage people even though I've never met them ahaha
they're even making money by ignoring the optional cosmetics lmao
Or you could just let them be and face that the game isn't for you. Surely it must mean something if your game can maintain such a high, steady player count and a thriving market.

While I never played all that much CS:GO in the first place, what it was at launch was fine and better than what exists today (especially in regards to skins). Since then I've seen so much shit changes (like not being able to play whatever mode you want without getting a rank first lmao, and the fact you lose rank if you dont play for a while is just fucking retarded. Sorry people who have a life outside of the game, you're going to lose your rank!!!)
Not to mention the absolutely atrocious "community" that had cropped up around skins; gambling, giving valve money for virtual pieces of shit, etc... And it's in your face, from others using the skins to you getting drops of crstes. It's there to entice you to spend money on them for what legitimately amounts to nothing. It doesn't matter how "optional" those skins are, they're there and they are pushed onto you. Great for you if you've not participated, but their mere existence is a blight upon gaming.
10 years ago it was a big issue when Bethesda charged for skins, called Horse Armor, and now people lap it up as if it's no big deal - and that's just sad. Skins and microtransactions are a literal cancer upon the gaming scene, and it's legit sad to see people lap it up and not realize what they're truly defending - an anti-consumer practice where the consumer is the only one that gets screwed over.
