• Son Sues Mother for Harassment Over Facebook Posts

By the way, parents having access to a child's facebook/myspace account is an invasion of the network privacy act.
Wow lol, Remove her from your friends and make your shit private, It's not that hard..
Isn't the argument over the fact that the mom was right or wrong is stupid? Truth is i think she should have checked but no log into his account. She would obviously know the password to his facebook account if he still lives with his mom or it could be that the mother guessed the password. But if she posts private stuff about him he does not want on the internet which is a pretty big part of society... Well you can see how things get fucked up.
He's under 18 so I don't see how this is even questionable
My mom is just as nozy, but blocking her was the first thing i did. And make my page private.
meh, its nothing New
Whether or not it's your family, privacy is deserved.
True, but asking for privacy on the internet is like asking for money from an insurance company. You're not getting it.
"I think this could be a precedent-setting moment for parents." Yea, like "Get the fuck off of facebook" or "learn that facebook is the only escape your children have outside of school because they spend most of their miserable time around you and school"
Are you over 40? Get the fuck off of Facebook. Really it should be more like 30 or 35 cut off but whatever.
lol he sued his mom wtf
Filed suit, whether he wins is another story.
Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Who the hell named this town.
People keep getting more and more stupid.
I think he has a case here. The parents my have the right to do certain things, but because his mother doesn't have the custodial right she may be in trouble. Quite frankly I'd love to see him win, there's a reason I never added my mother to my facebook.

Yea, like "Get the fuck off of facebook" or "learn that facebook is the only escape your children have outside of school because they spend most of their miserable time around you and school"
Yeah, cause parents are such terrible people and school is such a fucked up place.
Are you over 40? Get the fuck off of Facebook. Really it should be more like 30 or 35 cut off but whatever.
god forbid older people attempt to socialize or do anything remotely close to having friends
Yeah, cause parents are such terrible people and school is such a fucked up place.
Until you get to college, school is shit.
Until you get to college, school is shit.
Yeah, having parents pay for practically everything for you doesn't mean you have to show them any respect.
He's under 18 so I don't see how this is even questionable
She's not the legal guardian, so she's as susceptible to harassment charges as anyone else.
