While going on about taking over the world he does have a point.
I read that whole thing in the deep voice that is used to mask voices.
heck that would be good. America has gotten too complacent
That's like saying it would be cool if we had a genocide on Christians cause Christians are too used to not being attacked.
Matthew Broderick didn't have to put up with this shit

Not even in the slightest. He is saying that America needs social upheaval because right now we are locked in the constructs of post Great Depression politics and are facing a massive division of government mentality where one side is becoming fanatical and bloodthirsty while the other is trying to employ government structure to regulate the out of control aspects of our country's economy. We are at a point where a large percentage of the population holds archaic and preferential beliefs that involve removing the civil rights of those whom they perceive to be sinners to open them up to vindictive correction through discrimination, physical and psychological abuse, and social mistreatment. They honestly believe that shaming and discrimination against the sinner will correct them and discourage future sin. The Christian right of America is becoming vindictive and extreme, and something is going to happen soon or things will be changing for the worse.

Basically, he said it's good because we're smug.

The perceived growing power of the Christian extreme is just the desperate fight of cornered animal. They never had to try and do anything decades ago when nobody would even question what they did.

I agree with him though, even if that's not what I meant to imply. These nutball conservatives are attempting to take america back to a time that never existed.
