What a joke.
I think I saw a Pokemon card in the dumpster :v:
That was "Small Soldiers"
Oh the horror! *TOSS*
[/sarcasm] http://kotaku.com/5384628/howd-that-germany-killer-game-trashing-rally-go-eh?autoplay=true
For whoever' in Germany now, Go to the opera house and get the games in the dumpsters. I get it, Garbage Games.
I'm pretty sure I saw GTAIV on the 360 in that dumpster.
I'm pretty sure I saw GTAIV on the 360 in that dumpster.
The irony is they probably bought it to throw it away, since it's the only violent game 99 percent of over-reactive conservative women have ever heard of. I'm sure Rockstar Games is happy to take their money either way.
Honestly, all I could think was: "Pwnt." Dumb bastards got the humiliation they deserved.
I'd steal the games and sell them. If they actually threw away some good games.
1x GTA and 1x DefJam by the organizer 1x OpenArena was donated to the organizer 1x Small Soldier by someone that wanted to win the tricot.
Two games, and judging by their close Proximity, thrown in by the same angry parent who is punishing their kid for sneaking out the night before
They collected in total 5 games. In a container made to hold several TONS of garbage :v: And this was not the gouverment, it was a private union, from the parents of Winnenden (the place where the last kid went apeshit)
Haha, that's brilliant. They failed so horribly I almost feel bad for them. They rented out the huge dumpster for nothing.
wow... As if they couldnt get a bigger Container. :P
This is where the 2 dvd boxes came from.
I really expected this on the other thread in the "Videos Section". This thing was the most redundant and stupid action I have seen in my country. Luckily initiated by some activity-groups which generally tend to have stupid ideas.
since it's the only violent game 99 percent of over-reactive conservative women have ever heard of. I'm sure Rockstar Games is happy to take their money either way.
This. I actually managed to convince my mother that it's just a video game. She gave be a look and pretty much just said "k". I'm 18. I think I know the difference between running someone over and going to jail for it in real life and just opening up my cell phone and turning my wanted level down. :| Yes, I still live with my parents. :V They pay for stuff.
When do the German politicians learn it? This is a clear :iceburn: for their "OH NOES VIOLENCE IN GAYMES, BANBANBAN" opinion
Luckily, just a minority of our politicians follow this idea (And this action was actually initiated by an activity group and not by politicians). There are just around 5 who want to ban the "killer-games" where they actually never played any games at all. And the definition of a "killer-game" is anyway vague. According to their thoughts, "Pandemic" would be a killergame too (You play as a virus, bacteria or parasite and try to infect + kill the whole world). Anyway: Stupid ideas by stupid activists had to fail stupidly. [editline]03:03PM[/editline]
http://courses.cit.cornell.edu/his452/Alcohol/28-1124a.gif Well well well...
So expectable, that some trolls had to associate and post about nationalism as soon as they read "Germany"... How sad. [editline]03:05PM[/editline]
Shows that no one in Germany actually cares about violent games besides the government.
Just about 5 politicians and 100 activists in Germany. But you have similar situations in other countries, where a topic is raised while it is totally useless. One example is "fighting global warming" with trading CO_2 certificates.
That's what you get for not realising how dumbass your policy is.
That's what you get for not realising how dumbass your policy is.
Thanks for judging over a whole country by just seeing some random videos about an action which were initiated by activists and not by our policy. Same I could judge about the US: "How dumbass is this policy, which spends billions on invading countries even if the UN is against it", while it was the decision of one man in the executive (Bush).
So expectable, that some trolls had to associate and post about nationalism as soon as they read "Germany"... How sad.
I think he was referring to the fact that trying to destroy games is somewhat similar to the nazi's book burnings.
But if a person has violent games, why would they throw them away? If they do, why did they buy them in the first place?
Yeah, it doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense to purchase a game for the sole purpose of throwing it away. It's not like you can just check them out of the library and then burn them. You'd actually have to tear it away from your crying children, or else give money to the industry for the purpose of tossing their material. Most likely, you are just going to go through all the junk your son left behind when he went to college (excuse me, university in Europe) and toss the 20-year-old Nintendo carts that have been gathering dust in a box somewhere.
But if a person has violent games, why would they throw them away? If they do, why did they buy them in the first place?
that's too violent
Hopefully this will prove to those dam Liberal idiots, that it's because those kids were metally fucked up and conditioned to think it was alright by todays bullshit media. It's not the game that's the problem, it's the media (and the parents)

The only type of people that do this are those real real flakie types, oh you know the kind here in America they're the old women who you normally see as teachers in schools, with their soft tone but real southern voice, that like to put the Y sound in every word they speak... flakes man
Its censorship all over again. Take the UK (and maybe other countries) in the early 80's when Evil Dead 1 came out on video, it was the 50Yr old Womens institute who had the power and decided that they did not like it so they labled it <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_nasty">Video Nasty</a> and banned it just because it did not conform with their happly ever after musical Gene Kelly love story. Its just a bunch of scared people with power picking on one of the useual scape goats, and steriotyping gamers as the loaner of the class who listens to Heavy metal locked in a dark room playing video games just waiting to snap. and if it were up to them we would be living in some kind of 1984 world based around a hollywood musical.
I think he was referring to the fact that trying to destroy games is somewhat similar to the nazi's book burnings.
I know what he is referring for. But there are tons of other examples to compare this. The fact he has chosen "nazi book burning" just underlines my point [editline]05:40PM[/editline]
I wasn't judging your country dumbass, i realise that not everyone in germany's retarded.I was making a criticism of the action group.
But
That's what you get for not realising how dumbass your policy is.
says "your policy is stupid" which makes it sound like that. At least you added, you don't meant our whole country.
Hello, I am germany. To prove how much I have progressed, and how I am totally not at all Nazi like any more, I am going to show you how I am completely 100% not at all violent to anyone ever. By banning things and burning stuff!
It looks like :crossarms: their game is over. YEEEEAAAH
I know what he is referring for. But there are tons of other examples to compare this. The fact he has chosen "nazi book burning" just underlines my point
Like? Nazi book burning is the best example because the shit the Nazis did is the most famous. Don't be a baby and assume that it's just because the shit is German. People do the same thing here for stuff the USA does:
What are you on about?
He's all pissy because someone made a comparison to Nazi book burnings.
