No, giving into the fact they couldn't wait anymore.
Patience is a virtue.
It's true. They chose to stop waiting. And now with the PSN online again (partially but enough to play) they will regret it.
Hooray.
Now I can think again about getting a PS3.
I don't know if it's worth it though. I barely touch my 360 even though I love it because of school and work, and I'm an avid PC gamer anyway. I loved my PSP, but there was barely anything good to play on it too (besides Burnout and PS1 games), and I'm afraid my PS3 will be like this, which wouldn't be very helpful considering I have a 360 for cross-platform games already.
The power of LBP and MGS4 compel me, though! :(
how is it their fault?
Trading in a console that got hacked by something they had no idea about is their fault?
Trading in a working console just because the online component is down is a really stupid reason to trade a fully working console in when you can still play your games single-player.
Wai--- wha---
DID THAT IMAGE JUST LOAD UPSIDE DOWN?
Pixels at the bottom of a BMP image come first in the file.
I can imagine that if some group was enough of a jerk, they would DDoS the PSN network one last time out of spite.
Except I don't want that to happen of course. Good thing they made it harder to hack at least.
needs more giving out free PS3s
'cause I want one :smith:
That would be kind of dumb. Since they are apologizing to the PSN users.
One of the possible PSN hacker's has been exposed

He was apparently one of the admins who took care of the Anon site that got hit and had everyone's IP addresses released.
He lives a county over from me..

SEND PIZZAS!
I'm not sure if they were exactly "cavalier"; It's not as if the data wasn't protected.
I guess, they can't have protected it very well though. Doubt it was enough to be considered a reasonable degree in regard to the Data Protection Act 1998
Anyone know when the store will be back or how you get the two games?
