Glad to see games industry on the comeback.
Give us Ep3, Valve! Stop working on L4D, TF2, Portal 2, and your improvements to CSS, and give us the next game in the series that you're famous for!
Sequels are never good as the original though. Compare Command and Conquer 4 to the first Command and Conquer game. Sequels are never better than the original
fuck yeah cataclysm
Isn't there supposed to be like 3 CoD games in the next 2 years or something?
Can't wait for Black Ops. Maybe LittleBigPlanet 2 too.
Just waiting for Dead Rising 2, can't wait. Maybe Black Ops but they have to make it really awesome.

I feel like I'm the only one who's never been all that interested in Call of Duty. They churn out game after hyped game without ever putting depth into them. I've tried the latest forgettable-name-of-Duty game and thought it was nothing special. Am I missing something?
Dumb thread, dumb OP.
Major? Fuck majority, where are my independence games Anybody else here hates cash-cows as much as I do?
Starcraft is only in its first sequel.
Correct. Insurrection, Brood War and Enslavers, (Plus the other 1/2 campaign packs) were expansions. It's just a shame that SCII is a trilogy. I want Kerrigan!
Little Big Planet 2 and Portal 2 :buddy: I still need to buy RDR though :saddowns:
God dammit Square-Enix, way to release a game when the school year starts. Does it really take 8 months to translate and do some voice acting. :|
So stay up late playing video games like everyone else?
All I care about is Halo: Reach and Little Big Planet. Most of the others are just cash cows now.
Starcraft is only in its first sequel.
And it's been what, 10 years since the last one. I would make an exception to the "sequels are bad"-argument here, because it's been so long time.
What the fuck dude. We knew this about months ago. That's why i don't buy game magazines.
All I care about is Halo: Reach and Little Big Planet. Most of the others are just cash cows now.
Because Halo defiantly isn't a cash cow :cawg:
Where's Peace Walker up in this
Call of Duty is now another "Madden" series. Just wait and see. They'll be out with another game next year.

Super Mario Galaxy 2. Fuck yea.
Half Life 2 was better than Half Life 1
Fucking no way. Just no. More weapons, enemies, level variety, and better atmosphere in HL1. All HL2 had was the physics engine to wow. No weapon, level, or enemy variety. Bad AI.
At least valves sequels of half-life were always truly amazing.
Valve is sitting on their ass doing exactly what people don't want. No one was crazy about L4D1, then they announced a second one, and people even boycotted it. And there's still no real news on Ep3. No weapon, level, or enemy variety. Bad AI.
What are you on about boy? How did you expect the game to change? HL1 was basically "my life underground shooting grunts/zombies" For starters there were no characters in HL1 at all, the graphics were terrible, the physics were terrible, the AI was especially terrible. Basically the plot went like this: Crystal in beam, zombies everywhere, government comes and kills everyone, a tram ride, a satellite launch and a bit of time later you kill a big alien shaped like a baby by crowbarring it's brain, you end up on a train, which you jump out of at the Gmans request. HL2 at least had some clever riddles/puzzles to solve, a better plot, and some relatable characters. Also, HL2 was way more scenic, it wasn't just underground the whole time.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 to me so far seems like it's going to be the first with different levels and added yoshi.
LBP2? That game does NOT need a sequel.
