Looks alright I guess, but I don't get why UI designers love making avatars circular, it cuts off a good bit of most pictures.
When I was doing a branding design exercise last year, I made my logo circular on a square field. When I upload it to a service with circular avatars, I get a colored border. When I upload it to a service with square avatars, I get a square composition. I never lose anything, it's readable across all platforms, and it represents my personal brand. It's also on the back of my business cards as a centered composition on a rectangular field. My logo is personally identifiable, though, so I don't use it here. I'm trying to avoid the lawyers as well as I can.
Why does valve always have MGS V showing somewhere with anything relating to steam? They have it prominently displayed in big picture and in a few other things
Idk if they can fuck up the UI. They pretty much nailed the UI for Steam Big Picture.
For when you're in a mode that needs Big Picture, sure. It's kinda shitty when you're using a KB/M. [editline]a[/editline] A lot of wasted space.
Which is a damn shame, since I've created about 4,000+ custom grid view icons on solid black over like the last 3 years that are gonna be useless now. [t]https://i.imgur.com/JNnDp8q.png[/t] It looked so nice and was a fun distraction while listening to lectures.
do you have them all available to download anywhere? i actually quite like how they look
really the craziest thing about this is that somebody at valve unironically uses vivaldi
Wait what's wrong with Vivaldi now? I've been using it for like a year.
Battleborn on the front page? and its on there twice, very optimistic I don't really care about round avatars but for shit sake can they please make them bigger, I've wanted bigger steam avatars since Xfire was popular, they are so SMALL
I'd take round avatars if it meant less compression.
Simple UIs please. Everything is too flashy nowadays, i don't need images that fill half of my toolbox for no apparent reason. If you can customize then great, really want the useless news feed replaced with the update notes feed.
Is it really necessary to have TV, Apps, Comics, Movies and Music on the top bar? I don't see myself ever using them tbh.
Wait what's wrong with Vivaldi now? I've been using it for like a year.
i've been using vivaldi ever since the first beta came out. i'm a sucker for how it looks, i really dislike chrome, firefox has numerous problems, etc. I'd love to use some open-source free-range organic gmo-free browser like midori but theyre almost all universally lacking in features and polish. vivaldi is the best compromise i've found so far imo. so basically... yeah what's wrong with it?
Is it really necessary to have TV, Apps, Comics, Movies and Music on the top bar? I don't see myself every using them tbh.
To advertise stuff, I suppose. But worst case scenario you can just mod it away.
http://steamcommunity.com/id/steamuniversal Maybe the profile in the mockup? http://benharthun.com/ - the guy who probably made the mockup due to his stuff being open on the desktop in the second image
He set his steam profile to private, i'm guessing after seeing the leak.
He set his steam profile to private, i'm guessing after seeing the leak.
It was set to private the same time valve removed the files
