And I agree, he wasn't a dick. As mentioned in the text, he said stuff like "Good job team" and stuff. He wasn't mean, he just played the game the way the mechanics let him to play. And he wasn't punished by a GM either so he clearly didn't break any rules.

If someone threatens to kill you in an online game, chances are they don't actually mean it. I mean, how many times have you heard people IRL threatening to "kick his face in"?
