If you read the whole article, it apears that some people did try to find him and beat the crap out of him. None of them suceeded, but still, that could be unnerving. You're right, it shouldn't be meant to punish all gamers and say that games make everyone violent, but it should be brought to light that some are more extreme about video games than others. Even to the point of committing a crime.
