As if anyone didn't see this coming after Russia came in to help, don't get me wrong I am all for helping another country get nuclear power but when they're as crazy as Iran; expect a nuclear warhead.
Russia is earning money from this was just like US, what's wrong with that?
Russia is earning money from this was just like US, what's wrong with that?
Where did I say that I think russia getting money is bad? Where? I was just saying that Iran is batshit crazy, most middle eastern countries are.
Where did I say that I think russia getting money is bad? Where? I was just saying that Iran is batshit crazy, most middle eastern countries are.
No one cares really, as long as they pay money to someone.
by "leveling the playing field" It's only priming itself for an attack. Actually Iran has been a threat to the USA's domination in the region for a while now by opposing Israel, USA's bridgehead.
Edit: Seriously, all these negative reports and accusations of Iran seem to effectively drive towards the goal of suppressing them for good.
Edit2: I don't think that the USA would give two fucks if a country a couple of oceans away has a nuke, the real motives are more likely the powerplay in the area.
Why does Israel get to have a nuke(s) and Iran doesn't?

I think they'd be quite worried if deterrence theory failed for the first time in history.
we're dismantling ours, they're making them.
stop saying that
we dismantled a few really big bombs that were experiments from the cold war, we're not getting rid of our nukes, so stop saying it

Iran was targeted well before their nukes were of contention.
Iran's nukes are merely a pretext.
Quickly!
Nuke them before Assured Destruction becomes Mutual!
we're dismantling ours, they're making them.
We are dismantling only 15% of the thousands we have
Isn't UN's proof up to now just aerial photographs of large steel tubes and a 3d model of a missile. I can't find any new proof in the article.
I think they'd be quite worried if deterrence theory failed for the first time in history.
The Iranians would need to build one hell of a rocket to fire it to the US from inside their borders and cynically thinking, us wouldn't have much of a problem if some middle-eastern city is destroyed and radiation spills around a bit. Frankly a single nuke isn't that devastating globally looking, the thing it would still kill millions.
Well they will probably drop it on Israel
No seriously, how does this have 7 agrees? Its the stupidest shit I've heard all day, while its not much of concern as this is consistent with his posting style, the fact others believe this is likely the intention and what will happen is disappointing.
And who gave the right to isreal to have nukes?

Oh look, it's the multiculturalism-doesn't-work-and-they-are-ruining-europe guy.
And who gave the right to isreal to have nukes?
And who is to say they can't? Most 1st world countries do.
And who is to say they can't? Most 1st world countries do.
And who is to say iran can't?
Maybe if we're lucky, they'll blow themselves up.
We are dismantling only 15% of the thousands we have
Still, we're dismantling them, and Iran is trying to make them. Iran making nukes is not justification for military strikes, but they still shouldn't be making them.
Maybe if we're lucky, they'll blow themselves up.
No thread vaguely related to the middle-east is complete without ignorant hate.
And who is to say they can't? Most 1st world countries do.
US, Britain, France, Russia and China all had nukes before the non-proliferation treaty.
Pakistan, India, Israel and North Korea have them now. Iran and Syria are suspected to be developing them now.
Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and South Africa used to have them.
Out of those the US, Britain and France are the only first world countries. There's more developing nations on that list than developed ones.
we dismantled a few really big bombs that were experiments from the cold war
And were virtually undeployable anyway.
Still, we're dismantling them, and Iran is trying to make them. Iran making nukes is not justification for military strikes, but they still shouldn't be making them.
No, you're dismantling a few ones that would never be used anyway.
It's kind of like cleaning out that can of 20 year old beans that you never planned to eat from the back of your shelf. You're not cleaning out all your food, just the useless stuff.
And boy was this a shit analogy.
They are after Israel who are just across the street.
I don't think we really need to worry until they can launch shit ouside of the middle east.
They are after Isreal who are just across the street.
I don't think we really need to worry until they can launch shit ouside of the middle east.
It's Israel, not Isreal.
Man, we made amazing shit as humans. Now we wanna blow ourselves up and nuke our planet to death for the fuck of it.
stop saying that

You've dismantled 8,784 nuclear warheads since 1994. Many of those were probably retired but it doesn't matter since a retired weapon is never replaced.
It's Israel, not Isreal.
Israel isreal
Israel isreal
Isreal is not correct. In fact a lot of Israel's enemies refer to Israel as "Isreal."
They are after Isreal who are just across the street.
I don't think we really need to worry until they can launch shit ouside of the middle east.
whaaaaaaaaaat
if Iran were seriously considering nuking Israel and we knew it, would you seriously say it's not big deal because they can't nuke us?
Oh right, I posted in that one.
But this one has tons of new info though.
I made the last one and I agree completely, this is a new development entirely.
You've dismantled 8,784 nuclear warheads since 1994. Many of those were probably retired but it doesn't matter since a retired weapon is never replaced.
9k warheads is peanuts when you've had well above 20k in the past, and only need a couple thousand with modern delivery vehicles. Of course we've retired the shit that stopped being relevant to modern scenarios. That's not really getting rid of anything so much as cleaning house. It sounds nice to say, but means very little.
"So the US occupies/controls through aggressive invasion the two nations on either side of us. They overthrew our democratically elected leader and made our nation a puppet state with a dictator in power. They have tens of thousands of nuclear missiles capable of reaching anywhere on Earth. They've even used atomic bombs twice in war, and almost used them another two times, not including the cold war.
They're aiding our political and religious enemy, supplying them enough to defend themselves against any attack and be able to invade every nation around them, and probably sold them nuclear bombs. Because we are a small regional power and not a global one, and NATO and Israel hate us, we are expected to give up our right to develop nuclear weapons, simply because they don't like us. Even though the US has many, and Israel likely has at least some, we can't have any. India and Pakistan are enemies, but they are not challenged when they developed nuclear weapons. These are second-world powers and unstable nations like us, but they are not challenged because they have power. We do not. We are expected to take international sanctions while our enemy controls those around us, for the ability to defend ourselves.
It is increasingly obvious that we are in danger from the US and Israel, who wield WMDs legally and are not challenged, even when breaking international law by using banned weaponry like white Phosphorous, yet every day the US seems more and more likely to invade us, and we are sanctioned for trying to create a deterrent, or if worse comes to worst, level the playing field."
