Robot arms? And you're telling me nobody in this thread asked for this?
I can see this coming in handy for ship construction.
They have been doing so for a while now.
Yeah, but our current robits don't interact physically. They're digital.
It's already smaller than a forklift but I wonder how efficiently it runs.
Yeah, but our current robits don't interact physically. They're digital.
Can't tell if serious. If a factory robot isn't interacting physically, I don't know what is. Or is "robit" different from "robot"?

Awaiting the day Armored Cores come to reality
Reading the title made me think more of this and this
And it made me think of this poster.. Exoskeletons and power armor are here
Why is he wearing a vest?
Can't tell if serious. If a factory robot isn't interacting physically, I don't know what is. And I think he means that digital interaction, referring to being computer controlled and not having controls like that of the "Slave Arm" bot... thing.
Why is he wearing a vest?
In case the robot gains sentience, breaks free from its slave shackles and turns on him probably.
In case the robot gains sentience, breaks free from its slave shackles and turns on him probably.
I don't think the vest will be much help then
I don't think the vest will be much help then
Its a magnet proof vest. You know, incase the robot wants to magnet him to death
Luckiest, reporter, ever.
now we just need to find some big blue aliens to kill hell yeah
The day I'll be in a giant robot holding a giant assault rifle *sigh*
One day I hope this gets used for remote controlled combat robots so people don't have to actually go to war.
"Robit" is a reference to Futurama. And I think he means that digital interaction, referring to being computer controlled and not having controls like that of the "Slave Arm" bot... thing.
Most factory robots are computer controlled. Sure they are not super 1:1 accurate and can't perform a surgery yet, but they are interacting with shit, on their own.
One day I hope this gets used for remote controlled combat robots so people don't have to actually go to war.
that could have some terrible unforeseen consequences. Best to abandon war before that point.
Robot arms? And you're telling me nobody in this thread asked for this?
I never asked for this
Strap miniguns on the hands and you literally have a killing machine, America.
Why is he wearing a vest?
It's a magical vest, to appeal to the robot's deep Mormon roots
now we just need to find some big blue aliens to kill hell yeah
I was about to post that exact pic.
I wish that guy crushed container or something. I wanna see this robot fighting.
There has been early experimentation with this method. Scientists have let the cyborgs do menial things to test its intellect such as, make up beds, do homework, and terrorize six year-old little girls.
Strap miniguns on the hands and you literally have a killing machine, America.
No, you have nice easy target for any IED, RPG, rifle round, or land mine Seriously, there's no way that thing could be effective in it's current form
Oh, so my state did something other than export Missionaries. And salt. Lots of salt. In its defense our College has done a lot for computer science (Original concept of GUI, Phong Shading, and a ton of other shit I can't remember)
Make these next please.
No the ones in Avatar were more badass to be honest they had giant knives though of course those were still awesome
