Monsanto is removed from premises in Serbia
I'm glad India told them to buzz off - I'd have been enraged if their BS took hold there.
wow-wee, you're missing the point [editline]11th August 2013[/editline] i don't care if my food is GM, and neither should you. GM's are progress, it's monsanto's absolutely heinous monopolistic and worst of all government subsidized business model that you should take issue with
GM's that allow the use of pesticides (that they happen to make, oh what a coincidence) aren't progress in my opinion.
GM's that allow the use of pesticides aren't progress in my opinion.
Thats something I never mentioned: Monsanto's seeds REQUIRE roundup [A pesticide] to grow. Because of this superweeds and resilient insects are showing up everywhere. They also don't allow farmers to store their seeds, and to make sure of this they added a "Terminator gene" that makes the seed sterile. This is largely [if not completely] a Monsanto problem, as it wouldn't normally be the case, but it's another reason to not trust them. They go on farmers fields suspected to be contaminated with their seeds and proceed to sue them to hell and back for something they never meant to do: Patent infringement. Seeds that are modified are easily patented, and it is "patent infringement" in their, and in almost all cases, the courts eyes.

José Bové went to prison so we could be spared of GM, I won't have that shit.
