I disagree with cargo on assuming the guy's a douchebag or overall bad person. I have some good laughs from misc. I get the jokes, but sometimes their actual personality seeps through the slang they use and it's quite obvious some have actual problems. i remember reading a thread on misc where some guy met some teenage girl on steam who was obviously quite young and impressionable and not very attractive since they referred to her as 0/10. he was asking her to do various things and asking suggestions from miscers. I quit the thread after she was sending pics of herself and thread was having a field day with them. That thread really put me off of misc. Or am I the only one who sees something wrong with grown men manipulating and ridiculing some naive girl? And this isn't about white knight shit, she was quite hideous to be honest. It was just unnerving to see people have fun with her.

Scam artists on facepunch stealing hundreds of dollars from fellow members, people on /b/ shooting up universities, SA poster killing someone and then posting clues all over the forums. You're gonna find that stuff anywhere you look
