I wish, they'll just say it's some twisted experiment toying with things unholy and unnatural.
Awesome, Velocilunch.
Good idea, de-evolution of a species.

They'd be pretty deadly today, if you modify them to be immune to modern diseases, the only thing a dinosaur would have to worry about is another mass-extinction.
Do it in reverse and you get Lizards that can fly
Fucking awesome
Velociraptors with wings?!
Then i guess you could truely call it: Death from the sky :D
It'd need much more than merely giving lizards wings to make 'em fly. They need to have lightweight bones, which means they can't have any bone marrows. Birds overcome this by their red blood cells having nuclei, meaning their red blood cells divide. The wing-size would need to be engineered too, as well as the gait of the lizard. Unless you add a gene that permits a lifeform to have six limbs, like an insect. That way the wings can be on the back, whilst the lizard can walk like normal.
Yep, a lot more than merely giving lizards wings is required to give them flight.
Seriously, what law prohibits the creation of a radically-different lifeform?
I think it had something to do with the resulting creature being unable to survive. I'm not sure though.
Only in Canada.

Well, that's what evolution's all about: trial and error and survival of the fittest. Fucking pansies of the world don't want to accept that cold truth. Experimentation is also trial and error. You rarely get success on the first try. You just gotta try and try again until you get a good result!
In other words, we should blow that pansy law down, and allow genetic experimentation, finally progressing into the Age of the Chimera.
Not really. In Jurassic park they extracted DNA from amber and filled in the damaged code with supercomputers and frog DNA. Somehow this produced a perfectly formed Dinosaur...
Except in the books, it didn't produce a perfectly formed dinosaur - they were all horribly flawed ^^
If harpoons can kill whales...
Then nukes can kill dinosaurs!
OK, but... you asked for it. Hold on to your butts!

shit, I'm getting deja vu, where have I heard this before
Isn't this like IMPOSSIBLE?
Isn't this like IMPOSSIBLE?
If it does defy the laws of science...
[editline]11:07AM[/editline]
But it doesn't I believe.
Sometimes I wish the scientists would just say
"Fuck your shit"
and let these bitches hatch.

Well done for not knowing anything about Creationist's.

I know they're dumb
I know they're dumb
So is Lazyguy.
I want to taste chickosaur meat. I bet that shit tastes ferociously good.
I never believed Jurassic Park would ever come true but now we get closer and closer to the reality of it
So basically he is on about reversing evolution, pretty cool
I love science, fuck yeah.
Sometimes I wish I was fucking rich so I could secretly fund research like this and have them do all this "unethical" shit inside some deep underground lab :<
Of course he'll fail, but if he did it, it would open a door to more funding for this type of research, and more funding means more progress
Just imagine where NASA would be if not for all those Budget Cuts
Birds are also the closest thing we have to Dinosaurs I believe, so using a completely domesticated and abundant bird makes sense to me
Taking KFC to a whole new level :v:

About what?
About what?
About how this is meddling with nature I guess.
