What is this, the fucking Vietnam War? This same tactic was used by the Viet Kong. They would get a child's trust, then give the kid some candy and give them a grenade with the trigger held down by the kid and tell him/her to give it to the soldiers, and when they handed it over the trigger would jump and blow them up. :smith:
Taliban are guerrilla, yes. They have no real army or equipment. They have no chances in a fair war, so they need to resort to dirty tricks.

Oh. Well, that makes it OK then.

That makes it alright to use children as weapons V:downs:V
Funny how the Taliban are fighting a war they have already lost with tricks like these.
I blame parents. Did they not teach her to not talk to strangers?
If you never talk to strangers then you'll never make friends.

Why would you want a 30 year old friend at 8?

30 year olds have some pretty interesting stories man. Especially the kaboom ones.

What's better than hearing a story? Becoming part of it. So she did.
How awful.
On the other hand, this does not necessarily mean that all of the taliban want to use children as suicide bombers, because firstly, I doubt shit like this is even semi-usual unless the media is blind and secondly, I wont assume that all americans will kill children and civilians in cold blood even because i've seen it happen on video.
They where probably executing people etc before the US arrived in Afghanistan.
Actually it was standard practice. It still is.

And here's the taliban defender. We're talking about TALIBAN, not muslims.
Well shit. All the taliban must be totally in on this and they all decided this together by vote. Cmon man.
Edit: Let me compare the taliban to the nazis, it is unlikely that all the nazis enjoyed gassing jews, some were probably just in on it for the obvious patriotic reasons without even knowing about the death camps (Publically, they were presented as labor/prison camps and I think quite a few even devoted nazis would have been a bit startled at mass murder even if they saw jews as a lower race)

Sure not, there's way too many of them for all of them to decide on such a small thing.

From what I understand, the taliban are not a strictly organised army but more an amassment of many groups of rebels fighting for the same reason (edit: I think this is probable since they have been driven into somewhat of a hiding and guerilla war in which total organisation seems unlikely), logically, not all of them can be the same kind of people or endorse the same kind of methods.
Maybe someone's relative was killed in a NATO airstrike and he just wants revenge against the occupying soldiers with IEDs and guns and maybe some other one wants to form a fundamentalist muslim kingdom by using suicide atacks or any other mean necesary.
Taliban AKA MODERN NAZI. Worse than communist from North Korea.
I will never call anyone following the Taliban way a Muslim. They aren't Muslims AT ALL!

Someone actually theorized that suicide bombers are actually suicidal but looking for a loop hole so they don't go to hell.
They didn't even have the balls to do it themselves? That's just sad.

This is exactly what I was referring to earlier. That people are gonna come in and compare US killing civilians on accident to deliberate atrocities by the Taliban because they think that anyone fighting Americans is automatically awesome no matter what horrible things they do.

Those 72 virgins gotta come from somewhere, man.

Now that is a very broad generalisation about everyone who does not endorse the american governments way of handling things. Your country is so big that it can't avoid getting kicked but it can still take it without flinching. Opinions are a personal right of people and you really can't avoid negative opinions on a very warlike country like yours. The best would just be to deal with it instead of taking an agressive attitude (accusing all "the people" of being deliberately anti american which they are hardly not.) You just have to understand the critique and maybe think about it if you care that much, you are not obliged to anything anyways.

The idea that one side is more righteous then the other because it's "accidents" (and it isn't there are deliberate cases of US forces killing civilians on purpose) is wrong and a typical American view.
Oh. Well, that makes it OK then.
I'm not sure when Johan said that it was alright, he definitely didn't, he was just pointing out.
God, that girl should have just given them to the police. Instead she exploded, good going.
I've never seen anyone defending the Taliban here, only Muslims.
"US invaded their lands... they have every right to act like animals.. etc", theyll show up eventually.
disagreeing with the invasion of the middle east is a lot different than DEFENDING THE TALIBAN ARE YOU JOKING
By pulling out America supports the Talibans' actions.

Or maybe you should look at what "Taliban" is?
By pulling out America supports the Talibans' actions.
neutrality != support
i know this may be difficult to comprehend, but you are entirely wrong

Murdering ethnic Jews, Christians, and pretty much anyone who disagreed with them, murdering pretty much anyone in public at soccer games, Murdering pretty much everyone, yeah.
