Seattle cop punches woman in face during routine jaywalking stop - Polidicks

She's not under arrest for jaywalking, she's under arrest because she got a fine for jaywalking then decided to assault a police officer.

After watching the video i fully support this fine police officer restraint and control. He used minimal force, besides the punch. He could have easily decided to use OC Spray/Mace, his baton or even a taser if he has one. The girl shouldn't have interfered with him and be pulling on him. She didn't do it once, but twice. Things like this wouldn't happen if people would simply stop trying to be fucking punks and fucking think and use some common sense. They should have just let her get the ticket - It can be disputed if you think it was unlawful or unfair. Doesn't mean you will win, but you can fight it. Instead lets act like a dick to the officer who is simply doing his job. You might not like it or like what he is doing, but fighting him and having your friends pull the cop off of you isn't going to make anything better. Fuck sake. This is why the media pisses me off sometimes, the cop probably should have used a better method but what he did was still an acceptable method and it was the girl who was at fault. Also anyone saying that she shouldn't have been punched because she's a girl should come to the realisation that no, having a vagina does not give you special rights.

She deserved it. All this talk on hitting girls being wrong is stupid, there are some really crazy bitches out there who think they can get away with clawing your face and hitting you.

She's lucky the cop didn't fucking taze her. That didn't even look like a hard punch. I personally found it incredible how professional he remained throughout the ordeal, even addressing the people insulting and filming him as "sir" and "ma'am". I personally would've broke after a minute of that shit.

As a cop you have to be prepared to deal with the people who don't know the whole story. Also, you need to be like this guy and make sure it gets caught on camera when you smack a bitch.
