I was waiting for the cop to just shout "SHUT THE FUCK UP." I'm amazed that he kept his cool so well. For those wondering why he had trouble cuffing her, it's impossible to cuff someone who is squirming and shit because you need both hands free to handle the cuffs. He was trying to immobilize her so he could pin her with his arm while cuffing her. She got what she deserved.

I fail to see how a push on the arm counts as "assault." A punch in the face seems a bit excessive to get someone off your arm too, though. There were many, many other solutions for both parties to have taken.

He was justified in what he did, it was quicker and less painful that a taze or pepper spray. And what other solutions were there? Talking obviously wasn't working.

You can hear the bystanders repeatedly saying "Just calm down, just calm down. Stop resisting." And she just keeps fucking squirming and being a pain in the ass for the cop. So now she's getting resisting arrest added to her list of charges. The dumb bimbo in the pink should have stayed out of it, I hope she got arrested too. I'm surprised the officer didn't react with force sooner considering how close some of these guys were getting and how loud and belligerent they were.

When a police officer is arresting or detaining a potential suspect, it is not wise to intervene, especially physical intervention. The chick got exactly what she should have expected. Just like the bus tunnel bullshit this isent just an innocent little girl, Shes also punched another girl in the face and took money and her ipod the way I see it she deserves it not only that but you shouldn't jump on a cop. If she were to so as even reach wrong and accadently go towards his gun the cop would have been fully in the right to open fire. From the video it looks like they were in pioneer square its a notorious drug spot for tourists not supprised they got stopped.

Police work. People who take them for granted make me :/. They're job is already stressful due to all the 'rebels' walking around like they're above the law. He didn't even punch her that hard. Didn't even need to jaywalk in the first place.

Jay walking is that much of an offence to actually arrest someone? I jay walk all the damn time, a lot of times right in front of a cruiser. They don't do anything about it. Probably because they realize there are more important laws to enforce.
