No shit people would have an Refrigerators, even if your poor you need to find someway to keep your food fresh. As for computers, who's to say they aren't crappy $200 ones?
If your smart actually you can build a pretty decent gamer build for as low as $250.
I knew Obama was up to something! Hes improving living conditions for those idiotic peasants! Can you believe him!? ugh
Seriously? How are people this stupid? I find it incredibly hard to believe that people are this dumb, it just defies logic.
My Refrigerator is empty :(
Wow talk about stupid there, is there a low that fox news cannot hit. Really you want to see poor people go to the areas where there has been no jobs for the last 20 years then you would see poor living conditions.
When you look at the other side of the statistics, that's not very good at all. 30% of people have no A/C? Or no microwave?
When you look at the other side of the statistics, that's not very good at all. 30% of people have no A/C? Or no microwave?
People didn't have AC in the 1700's either. They survived.
30% of the people poor people do not have A/C and no microwave, not people in general.
People didn't have AC in the 1700's either. They survived.
Yup, straight into their 30's.
Yup, straight into their 30's.
50's or 60's actually. And not because of not having AC, because of poor medical care. People died from the flu and shit.
50's or 60's actually. And not because of not having AC, because of poor medical care. People died from the flu and shit.
People still die from the flu because they don't drink enough water.
People still die from the flu because they don't drink enough water.
You know what I meant.
These people are genuinely poor in that they have little to no money, little to no clean water (or running water, for that matter), no electricity, little to no food, have no access whatsoever to proper medical care, are ravaged by common diseases (which are often deadly to them) and famine, have no jobs (or they have jobs, but they pay well below what they can make a living off of, all the while they're working in horrid conditions), and live in rundown shacks made of wood, mudbrick, and/or tin (at best; many simply have to live in the gutters): http://www.poyi.org/65/photos/NPOY1/npoystory01/npoystories01_01.JPG http://gb.fotolibra.com/images/previews/520796-poor-housing-in-lagos-nigeria.jpeg http://www.free-pictures.info/picture/d/file/travel/2011-01-31/Nigeria-travel-1-1296473210.jpg http://img2.allvoices.com/thumbs/image/609/480/65715850-poor-people.jpg http://uruknet.com/pic.php?f=30afghanistan-p.jpeg Sights like that cannot be found en masse within the United States. America's perception of being poor is really out of whack compared to other nations where it's a serious issue. That, and it's very out of date. Being poor in the United States today is nothing like it was 70+ years ago. Are there poor people? Yes, in the sense that they have little or no money. But they have no problem accessing clean water, electricity is everywhere, they can get food (provided through the government; food can also be bought cheaply), they do have access to medical care (top quality that's provided to everyone now), famine is not an issue and common diseases do not reach epidemic proportions, they can find jobs without trouble (if not on their own part, they can consult with their state Department of Economic Development and meet with an employee who will help them to find work) that will require them to pay at least minimum wage and must additionally adhere to strict safety regulations and health regulations (rightfully so), and the government provides housing for those who cannot afford it or live in destitute conditions with everything necessary to survive and more.
I think they're talking relatively poor.

Wow where has this guy been? Fox News was always dumb.

Most of them are probably using Windows 95 machines that can be picked up for typically twenty-ish, but as low as five dollars today.
isnt glenn beck in it for the money anyway like he just says things so he gets money from fox news runner people
If the Republicans truly take over our political system... they won't notice the poor of America until they're storming the steps of the Capital Building and the White House v:v:v
If the Republicans truly take over our political system... they won't notice the poor of America until they're storming the steps of the Capital Building and the White House v:v:v
Republicans are fine. People like Bush and McCain fucked it up.
J!NX News: Are there really intelligent Americans?
Ha, Fox News has a history of skewing the lines between classes. I recall one day they were talking about opposing the tax cuts to the rich, saying 6-digit salaries "aren't that much," and these tax cuts would really hurt their lifestyle, etc. And then the very next day they were covering the teacher strikes, saying $50,000 was an exorbitant amount and they could afford to lose some of that money. It's pretty obvious they're just trying to put a bad image on the link between the lower class and social welfare programs. Basically what this report is saying, "they have refrigerators, so why do they need financial aid to fill that refrigerator?"

I forgot about those stories. That made me laugh.
Are there really dumb americans? "99.6% OF DUMB AMERICANS HAVE TV AND WATCH A SPECIFIC NEWS NETWORK"
Are there really dumb americans? "99.6% OF DUMB AMERICANS HAVE TV AND WATCH A SPECIFIC NEWS NETWORK"
Call me stupid, but I'm seeing a pattern here :v:
smartboard
These things are so inexpensive. I would hope even 99.6% of poor Americans can afford refrigerators.
you have to wonder if these people truly are living in the past when they think that refrigerators, microwaves, TVs and cellphones are expensive "modern conveniences"
you have to wonder if these people truly are living in the past when they think that refrigerators, microwaves, TVs and cellphones are expensive "modern conveniences"
They're Republicans. They live in 1950.
