The suspect fled, and he chased him down and shot him in the back. There's no reason to shoot someone like that in the back for stealing your possessions.
Did you read the whole story, idiot? It wasn't because he stole his possessions. It was because he had a gun pressed against his friend's head and was a threat to society. There's no way he knew the kid was 15 and no way he knew it was a a pellet gun. Stop sticking up for criminals. You hardly ever seem to read the whole story, or if you do you change shit around so you can fucking argue. Pathetic.
You're either trolling or a fucking retard. Or both.
:sigh: Can't we debate like civil people?

I read both stories. The fact remains that he chased him down and shot him in the back. Generally you're only allowed to shoot people if they're an imminent threat. Once he fled and had his back turned the FBI agent should have just called the police.
"Oh, this fifteen-year-old kid is running away from me as fast as he can. Clearly, he intends to kill me, so I better shoot him twice in the back." :downs:
At first I was furious with you, but now I think I see what you're doing. Bravo. Let's get back on topic shall we?

Warhol, my friend, please, please, please, sincerely tell me, in all seriousness, taking into account that all it takes is some charcoal gray spray paint and a $10 airsoft pistol from Wal-Mart to make it distinguishable from a real firearm in a situation like this, and the fact that half the 15 year olds I know look like 21 year olds, why o'why, this kid is any different then a 21 year old gangbanger with a real gun? :geno:

So it's a wiser choice for the agent to let someone with a gun who expressed an intent to use it against another person just run away?

I like Jdk more then Warhol in this situation.

Can you imagine what an insufferable prick this kid would be the next day if he got to keep the FBI badge? Holy shit.
But seriously, the kid threatened to kill and made the agent believe he was armed. That's pretty much enough reason.
If you walk down the street with a weapon out I can guarantee they're not going to let you run away just because you haven't shot anyone yet.

Damn it, the thread is moving too fast, Warhol, someone running around with a real official police badge, let alone after putting a gun to a person's head threatening to murder them, is dangerous as hell

Yeah, thanks for ruining our economy then bombing us and allowing the Albanians to set up a artificial republic just as illegal as the State of Israel just to rub salt in our wounds
Honestly I think he made the right choice. From his perspective, if he let the chase go on to long, he could pressure the kid into hurting him or someone else. If he let him go, you have a mugger with a gun panicking and running around.
It's terrible, but he made the right decision.
True, the FBI agent couldn't have known. But to turn around and fucking shoot the kid?
Yeah, what great logical thinking. He should have let the kid run off into the public with what could have potentially been a loaded gun. Nothing bad could come out of a fucking brainless idiot teenager with a loaded gun right?
It sounds like you're just grasping at straws here just to look for some excuse to bash law enforcement for protecting the community, and it's really sad... there's just no logic behind anything you're saying at all.
So it's a wiser choice for the agent to let someone with a gun whom also expressed an intent to use it against another person just run away?
It's better to let local enforcement take over instead of chasing the person and shooting him in the back. Most robbers don't use their firearms other than as a show of force. Sometimes it's better to just let them go and call the police. If the guy was still pointing the gun at the friend then I can understand shooting him, but he wasn't. He fled and was no longer an imminent threat. He got what he wanted and ran away.
Yeah, thanks for bombing us :tito:
what in gods holy name are you blabbering about
this thread is going to turn out like that one where the lady shot the crazy guy in her kitchen with a shotgun. 1 page in ten minutes and goes on for 40 pages.

Most robbers will use their guns if an officer gives chase. Besides, he is an officer of the law. He has an obligation to make sure he can't get away. He was armed and to the officers knowledge shoot him or a bystander at any time.
He's a fucking FBI agent, he should be able to take down a 15 year old.
What's with your obsession with "taking people down"? What if they have a knife and stab you as you "take them down"?

the guy is FBI, hes more capable than your average dipshit local cop.

They're not going to let you run away, but they can't just shoot you in the back if you decide to flee. If you lift the firearm up and try to point it at someone then yes they'll shoot you.
I consider Warhol and JDK trolls already so everybody ignore them already, the Agent did the right thing who knows what could have happened if the kid kept on going mugging people with a fake gun he COULD have been killed the agent at least stopped this before it would escalate.
Citizens are allowed to carry guns with the proper license, what are you talking about.
And in some states you can have a concealed gun with out a license.

That is just fucking stupid, you don't make a move while the hostile still has a killshot on you or your friend

Supporting criminals just so that you can get in some more bashes against law enforcement..I just don't get it at all.
I consider Warhol and JDK trolls already so everybody ignore them already
"somebody doesn't agree with me, i must ignore them or else my frail worldview might be shattered".

He could easily shoot him or another bystander at any time before the officer could react (to his knowledge). It's very hard to suddenly take someone down when you are chasing them and they suddenly whip around and fire. If he had a real gun, the situation would have probably ended in him firing shots had the officer not intervened.
still sucks though
the guy is FBI, hes more capable than your average dipshit local cop.
That doesn't mean he can just take over. The FBI investigates federal crimes.
That doesn't mean he can just take over. The FBI investigates federal crimes.
they also have an obligation to stop crimes in action/criminals fleeing.
