I still think they're really bad at hiding this, though, but, I don't think they should. But at the same time, it seems a little unneeded? Paranoia runs deep, but with so many people, so many are too insignificant to wiretap.

Facepunch sees the words "police" and "internet" and always freaks out while claiming the end of the internet and the start of some Police State, regardless of how well-meaning the article is.

I am worried that the internet could one day become like the radio, but at the same time, I don't see that being possible. It's far too popular now, by too many popular people.
Do you know how much data and money you'd have to mine to regulate even 10% of the internet? I don't know exact numbers but, I assume a LOT. You can't be 100% sure on everyone's activity and track even a little bit of it without a waste of time and money. There's literally no point.
