People don't seem to realize how easy it is to impersonate, if you got yourself a squadcar and rushed through the city with lights on, no cop would drive behind you and stop you. Just show some fake transfer form you snatched from a counter in another station, be able to talk to people and you got a job as a cop or any other position. The system is easy to trick because a lot in out society works by trust and simple "If he wasn't what he pretends to be, we would notice", some people (conmen just to name one kind) are able to pull it off, some would fuck up at the first time someone gets a bit suspicious.
Err, yes you would get caught. You have to call it in if you put on the blues and twos, and if another police car saw you speeding by they would most likely follow to assist, or ask on the radio if you need assistance. Plus you make it sound easy to "steal a transfer form", when in reality it can take months for a transfer to go through with fuck loads of paper work.
Hah, I remember one case here in germany of a doctor who did his job for decades had treated many patients, all of wich favoured him over other doctors for his passion and actual efficency compared to the competition who mostly just hand out pills like candy. Turns out, he never was a doctor. He learned autodidactly and did better than most, he just never got any certifiicate or visited any university. He got his license revoked and that was the last I heard of him
I can see what he got the inspiration from. [sp]To those who don't know, there was an episode where they pretended to be surgeons performing an experimental procedure.[/sp] What the hell are you all rating me late for? I was the first one to post about Drake & Josh.

reminds me of drake and josh dr nessbaum

meanwhile in florida
fuck this state, all the weird news comes out of florida
Maybe I missed it, but I would like to know the reason why he did this. Maybe he really, really, really wanted to be a doctor or something. If that's the case, I feel bad for him. :(
If the kid had done this during Halloween, he could have gotten away with it by saying he was cosplaying as a doctor

Reminds me of the movie "Chameleon Street" Funny movie though. I recommend it.
He just wanted to be like Doogie Howser.
Well, they're doctors, not detectives :v:
Reminds me of Wilhelm Voigt.
He had purchased parts of used captain's uniforms from different shops and tested their effect on soldiers. He had resigned from the shoe factory ten days previously. He took the uniform out of baggage storage, put it on and went to the local army barracks, stopped four grenadiers and a sergeant on their way back to barracks and told them to come with him. Indoctrinated to obey officers without question, they followed. He dismissed the commanding sergeant to report to his superiors and later commandeered 6 more soldiers from a shooting range. Then he took a train to Köpenick, east of Berlin, occupied the local city hall with his soldiers and told them to cover all exits. He told the local police to "care for law and order" and to "prevent calls to Berlin for one hour" at the local post office. He had the treasurer von Wiltberg and mayor Georg Langerhans arrested, supposedly for suspicions of crooked bookkeeping, and confiscated 4002 marks and 37 pfennigs - with a receipt, of course (he signed it with his former jail director's name). Then he commandeered two carriages and told the grenadiers to take the arrested men to the Neue Wache in Berlin for interrogation. He told the remaining guards to stand in their places for half an hour and then left for the train station. He later changed into civilian clothes and disappeared.
