Here in Australia, the bonnet is the front, the boot is the back, and the hood is the interior ceiling. I think you guys call it the 'headliner' in America, but we just call it the hood lining here in dust country.

We call it the interior ceiling.

That's when we call it anything. Most of the time, we ignore it and it ignores us. Everyone's much happier that way.
