Also you ask why do they lose a fight against primitive aliens ? Because of the sheer number of them. There were probably few hundred to 1000 people there against probably few hundred thousand if not millions of aliens, with carbon enhanced bones and stuff, that are very hard to kill.
more depleted uranium bullets to the gatling guns next time, then!
and screw the environmentalist message, it felt so forced, like "rubbing Greenpeace magazine wrapped in flowers against your face" forced

It's the core of the whole movie, 3/4 of the movie was just showing how Navi are connected with the environment and are one with the planet. You missed the whole point.
I don't get the hate for Avatar. It was a nice movie. I think people just like to be contrarian and hate on the popular stuff to pretend they have better taste and higher standards than others.
People don't hate on Avatar because they're being contrarian. They hate it because it's genuinely a bad movie. It was so hamfisted, stupid, and manipulative. The dialogue was cheesy, and the characters were 1 dimensional caricatures. Take away all the fancy special effects and you have a movie that is mediocre in every regard.

I hope the UED comes and drops tac nukes on all the blue people's villages.

If that's the case, Cameron's gonna have to either push it to 2018 or move it up because it'll get fucking steam rolled if it goes toe to toe with Star Wars.
A lot of people like to criticize Avatar for being unoriginal, and that its success is only based on visuals, hype and marketing. But can people honestly say Force Awakens is much different, and that it truly is the greatest thing they ever saw ? The marketing and the hype was out of this world, and from what I heard there are a lot of story elements taken directly from New Hope.
Yes it is, because TFA doesn't really have any glaring flaws, the visuals are surprisingly mostly practical, even the x-wing was an actual cockpit on a lift swinging around to get the lighting right, and none of the sets were mainly CGI, ya its not the greatest movie ever but its better than avatar
At least the Na'vi in Avatar had a better chance of winning their battle than Ewoks.

I think Disney got too big for their britches by trying to do 3 Star Wars films in less than a year and a half
They should take their time when making movies that are linked to such franchises. Why make three crap movies that don't sell rather than one great movie that breaks the box office?
I am okay with this
