Whatever HL3 will be like.
It wouldn't have been worth the wait.
I just think its kind of shitty of valve to literally not say anything about Episode 3. Nothing.
I understand they don't want to create undue hype by releasing early footage which could change, but they could at least release SOMETHING to let us know whether it's alive or not. Entire series of games have come out since the orange box and we don't even have an announcement for goodness sake.
All they've done is alienated the Half Life fanbase with this.
It's a stillborn, it's impossible to get this much hype and not disappoint fans who waited years for the game.
how is it impossible to create a good continuation to HL1&2 ?
all you need is some player-controlled combine gunships/trucks/etc for HL3 multiplayer along with the old-school stuff, and some awesome processing of snow as one new gimmick for the Singleplayer campaign, and then you got at least a half decent game.
Maybe they want to wait for the FPS fad to die.
That could take years though...
I don't think Valve have a booth at this year's E3.
Valve never has a booth, they just crash someone else's party
I came into this thread thinking "whaat, did i miss episode 3?"
No offense, but you must suck at sex.
Why can't you have quality sex, twice a day?
You obviously haven't had much sex then. Sex daily is alright but twice a day gets boring after like two days. It's really not as fun when you have it every waking minute
A chemist found out what that apparatus was.
Anybody who took a gen chem class in college would understand that was a fume hood. I know this isn't these guy's forte, rather they spend all their time looking for evidence picking apart video games.... it still just feels really dumb that if they really were picking it apart that they could easily figure out what the apparatus was.
But yeah, fume hood. Looks like the setup is for a controlled reaction so that they can control the rate of reaction (I am getting that from the machine on top plus the copper (insulated) and the two flasks in the TCUs.
I don't know, maybe you had to make a bomb? But I have a feeling that Valve is more creative than that.

I know we're still a long ways from DNF, but at least DNF had teaser screens and updates and shit from time to time. We get nothing but silence.
