Think there was a Burger King too. I only had a standard lunch line but the pizza and taco salad was pretty good. Everyone survived off those.

I don't see a problem with them banning people from bringing snacks in. Someone brings in contaminated food with the intention of harming others, what other option do you have? Does the school buy a fucking forensics lab and require all the food brought in get analyzed? Or just not act at all and wait until someone does something worse?

Its fucking 6 dollars for some chicken strips and fries. And these arent even good chicken strips!

I feel sorry for the parents, I work full time and I can't afford to be paying for lunch every day, let alone paying for a child having to pay for food at a cafeteria with most likely extremely elevated prices. Education system in America is pretty damn retarded

would this be akin to a school shooting if the cupcakes were laced with poison? would this new rule really seem so stupid had a bully pulled this stunt? in a sense, everybody and not just bullies are protected from this. if anyone could just bring in food laced with any household consumables, there's certainly room for much greater harm than simple mayonnaise and soy sauce can dish out. the policy sounds like a temporary ruling until the district acts upon this. if it turns out to be a permanent rule then yes, it is incredibly stupid.

(Averages around $4 a lunch around where I live) If you can't afford it, you can apply for fee waiver to get free lunches and whatever. The requirements for it are stupid though.
