what? bush won that election, the votes were recounted over and over, bush won every time
Trump doesn't actually have a chance of becoming president does he? Surely if god truly he existed he wouldn't allow such a thing to happen.
He has zero chance of becoming president, even IF he gets the nomination.
Unless Hillary Clinton is on the ballot and not Sanders, in which case I honestly don't know which way it would go.
Sanders has no chance, like I said before no one wants a socialist.
Sanders has no chance, like I said before no one wants a socialist.
He's not even a socialist in the classical sense, he's a social democrat.
I don't see why Hispanics should be offended by Trump anyways. The only ones that should be voting are the ones that immigrated here legally, and you obviously understand the difficulty and merits of such a long and difficult process if you bothered to go through it.
I'm sure many native Mexicans who went through that process are very anti-illegal immigration and the rest probably don't care because it has nothing to do with them.
Not all hispanics are immigrants. A lot of us are 2nd or 3rd generation hispanics who are as American as any other American, and when Trump talks dirty about immigrants we take it as him talking dirty about our family and friends of whom some are in fact in a more complicated situation. A majority of us just want a compassionate approach to immigration, and Trump's not exactly known for working that way.
He's not even a socialist in the classical sense, he's a social democrat.
But that's how the media will portray him when the attack ads start, and probably the only thing the average Republican will hear about

Jesus christ
a Hillary vs. Donald presidential election
Suicide is the only option for that scenario

When Sanders doesn't get the nomination, Hillary will still win. I'm optimistic and hopeful about Sanders, but if he doesn't make the nomination, the Republican party still has zero chance to win against Hillary. Why? Because almost everyone who would have voted for Sanders will still vote for Hillary. When you have a choice between a centrist and an off-the-wall fascist lunatic, you pick the centrist. No Sanders voter is going to say "well I guess Trump isn't so bad!"
There's no possible way the Democratic party loses this next election. The GOP is fractured and will likely be forced to have their votes split, meaning that Hillary's almost guaranteed the presidency unless Sanders pulls an Obama and snatches it out from under her. Which is possible, but still unlikely.
Good. If Trump loses the christian baby boomer vote he'll have nothing left.
I don't understand why someone would support Clinton over Sanders.

Well at her best Hiliary does have experience in hardcore Politics being the wife of a former president, and honestly after seeing sanders being easily pushed around BLM easily, She is the better choice for a solid Democratic president.
SH needs to get off the hate train with her because she IS, wether you like it or not, the second best choice and the most likely choice for president. Bernie is not gonna get in, he even fucking described himself as a socialist, that just guarantees he's not getting the nomination. I'd prefer a President who looks confident in both home and foreign policies, than a guy who has good home policies, but is bound to get pushed around by people like Putin.
[editline]30th August 2015[/editline]
Why does SH think that Bernie sanders is the second coming of Obama-Jesus, while Hilary is the super satan that's gonna ram everything into the ground?
Because she said a nasty thing about video games once? Because of an email scandal the media chew up like a $1 dog toy?
Bernie Sanders is the idealistic choice, Hiliary is straight up the most realistic choice.
Bernie Sanders is the idealistic choice, Hiliary is straight up the most realistic choice.
What does that even mean? Why would anyone need to choose between Sanders and Clinton outside of the primaries, where the "idealistic choice" is the entire point of voting?
What does that even mean? Why would anyone need to choose between Sanders and Clinton outside of the primaries, where the "idealistic choice" is the entire point of voting?
Because again, this subforum is always going on about Bernie as this savior of America and always smacking down Hiliary as some internt evil that will send us to some dark age if we vote for her.
Also that exact statement was me trying to add some flair to my opinion, I'm passionate like that.

The Republicans have historically stood behind a single Presidential candidate in the past, why would they split now, especially when both parties know that a split will cause their side to lose the election? Yes Trump said he would contest as an independent if he lost the nomination, but he actually won't, he was simply saying that for political points.
If Sanders wins the Democrat nomination, all the Republicans would have to do is field a moderate candidate to win the election. If Clinton won the nomination instead, it would be a closer race than you made it out to be.

Also to make it very very very clear, I do not hate Bernie Sanders, Yes I see why Hiliary is hated by this subforum apparantly (the whole email thing), but I don't get the super hate for her. She has merits, she's a Clinton, She has solid experience in politics, and most important of all, she looks confident.
I can't believe religion still plays such a big part in american politics. It's ridiculous
Well its becoming less and less as the Republican party collapses around the Evangelical voters, its just the republicans direly need to get them to not flat out loose

I like how everyone thinks that just because Bernie agrees with the BLM movement and let them had their time up at the stage, that obviously means he got pushed around on the stage. Even more idiotically, this somehow means he's going to get pushed around on the world stage. I agree with most of your points here, Hillary is unfortunately going to win, but seriously stop with the "Bernie was pushed around" bullshit.
and honestly after seeing sanders being easily pushed around BLM easily, She is the better choice for a solid Democratic president.

I think Hilary gets too much hate aswell but this is a poor reason to not support someone, he wasn't being "pushed around" he was hearing them out on their issues and showing respect to them.
You are delusional if you think he wasn't pushed around.
I think Hilary gets too much hate aswell but this is a poor reason to not support someone, he wasn't being "pushed around" he was hearing them out on their issues and showing respect to them.
He voluntarily stood on stage and remained silent after they demanded seven minutes of silence, and then went and published his racial justice platform.
The idea that Sanders is angry at BLM is an Internet-created myth. He stood there for several minutes and didn't leave the stage or try to get the mic back, allowing them to talk, which was a large gesture of support and solidarity.
The idea that it was "weakness" is absurd. Sanders isn't the type of guy to meekly stand in the background and just take it, and his voting record and his political history backs that entirely. He's very vocal.
You are delusional if you think he wasn't pushed around.
If he was pushed around, why didn't he leave the stage? He voluntarily stayed there. For like 15 minutes. He could've walked out the back at any moment.
They demanded him to get off, took his mic and they demanded silence. While people in the crowd were booing and telling them to get off, while he stood in the back. A good leader wouldn't of let that happened, he looked weak.
[editline]31st August 2015[/editline]
You also forgot to mention that he tried to take the mic back and he got pushed off again. What a weakling.

He was, while being told to piss off by BLM from what the articles and posts here on SH said. And I'm sorry, but you have to judge a canidate by more than just how much of a hug he's going to give, he needs to look confident to stand against those who definantly don't want hugs.
I use Putin as an example because he's tall and intimidating person, you need to be like Obama where you can stand firm against people like him along with not starting a war while standing firm. To me, Bernie being harassed by BLM that easily and letting them speak does show that he's willing to let the people talk and he is willing to listen, but also that he might just get pushed around by foreign bullies.
Plus I am seriously tired of people praising him all the time like he's the greatest thing to come and everyone else is stupid or evil compared to him, and that the likeliness of Hiliary getting in instead of Bernie is "unfortunate".
Anyone voting for Bernie doesn't really care about America, they just want free shit.

But Bernie's flat-out called Putin a bully and has called for sanctions against Russia for the Ukraine situation. That's not weakness - Hillary hasn't done that.

I don't think I can really express how incorrect that is. Here's something that was given out at a rally:

On a side note I really really suck at debating in this subforum.

Ever since you joined you've been praising Trump, I seriously just smell a troll account.

Yeah, they will make problems WORSE. Systemic racism? Please, racism isn't a issue in this country. Affirmative Action allows minorities to be accepted in a college with a worse GPA then a white person with a higher GPA, just for being a minority. We have black congress members, a black president, a black sheriff in Texas spoke out against the current activism that's happening. Cops kill MORE whites than any other race. There isn't heavy racism against anyone, its a cultural issues in blacks and Hispanics alike.
Women and men are paid equally already, look it up. Anyone who believes in the wage gap myth is a dummy. Why are we going to expand Social Security? To much people rely on it, yet we are going to expand it? There is a shrinking middle class and us expanding Social Security is going to shrink even more.
Free tuition? That's useless. We aren't some small European country we have 300 million people, paying for tuition for every citizen who wishes to go to college is insane, its to expensive. It's a waste of money, and it will ruin colleges by making them public. We need a re-haul in the education system, making tuition free won't fix shit. People are in debt because they are going into useless majors, we have WAY to many majors. Colleges need to cut some.
I agree with increasing the minimum wage, but not to 15 that's insane. It will have a drastic effect on the economy, prices are going to be increased, businesses are going to lose money, and no one is going to want to hire unskilled workers for 15 dollars a hour. We don't have a wage gap between women and men. Men pick longer hours, and jobs that pay more while women don't. It's a myth.
