He's lost dignity because he's now reliant on someone else to do basic things no person should need someone else to do. Simple things like fixing his own TV dinner, or taking a shit unassisted, or driving a normal car even.

accidents happen, and since she did pass a test she should be allowed to drive.
however, it concerns me that she was able to pass a test, especially after failing 4 others. passing a test after failing others usually indicates that the person has improved their driving skills during said period, but i feel like that 5th test may have been flawed.

and yes, definitely test citizens over 60 years of age every time they have to renew a license.
