I was actually talking to some of my work-bros about this last night. At least the last episode ended on a hope spot, as hes seen smiling, happy, with a wife and kids opening presents on christmas morning, after enduring everything that had happened to him through his childhood.

Adult Swim is still god tier, but its absolutely shit considering its niche 2-4AM shows these days. They play it way too safe, and things like Bojack Horseman/Rick and Morty dont really touch what type of shows used to be shown on adult swim. I love R&M and think its the best cartoon by far recently, but late night Adult Swim really change. Thankfully they still do "specials" at 4AM+ like "Too many Cooks" and AlanTutorials longer shorts. Shit like Family Guy/Futurama/KOTH/etc... were always early on and never touched these shows times, but they dont even show this type of shit anymore. All the best AS shit was always the shows that got like 1 season you cant even remember the name of.

I just binged watched the whole show. The show was just brilliantly written. One moment I can be laughing my ass off and not even a second later I feel depressed as shit.

You know Ive never really been interested in Adult Swim, but seeing these clips I think I might start watching this show. Ive always enjoyed dark tragicomedies.

Started watching this show after reading people talking about it in this thread, really sort of regret it because it's so messed up and yet I'm hooked, I can't stop watching.

I've been in love with this show for the past few years. Wish it was more popular since I've never met anyone who even knew of its existence.

Show really hurt me in MiddleSchool, staying up till 12 to watch it every other night.

I just got done watching the episode with Dr Chosenberg and honestly what the fuck

I saw this show a long time ago but sorta forgot about it, then I saw the prequal special about Oral as a toddler and his grandpa and I teared up close to the end. Jesus how could a claymation adult swim show be so emotional.

I remember dismissing this show as just "Davey And Goliath '00", with only the episode where Orel [sp]gives a "bum" money, but the bum turns out to be a crack dealer and Orel gets hooked on crack[/sp] standing out. The turn it takes in later seasons was in fact quite depressing.

The 2 guys behind it are pure fucking geniuses, they are also responsible for Wonder Showzen. You can watch episodes of that show like 5 times in a row and still get something new from it, it's such a fast-paced show but theres like tons of hidden detail and shit laid everywhere.

Gotta say that last season made me tear up a few times.

I find it strange that Adult Swim doesn't have the whole series available for viewing on their website. They don't even have a full season.

I just went back and starting watching the series again. The writing is pretty brilliant in how darkly comedic it is at times, such as the Christmas Special in Season 1.

I used to love adult swim because they had the balls to air different stuff like this. Now it's just record it for Rick & Morty and ignore practically everything else because it's Seth McFarland trash.
