Maybe.[/QUOTE] Southern Manitoba is fantastic for cultural events Most bands on tour stop in Winnipeg, plus you have the Fringe Fest, Folklorama, Festival du Voyageur, Islendingadagurinn and rent is reasonable Winnipeg and area is pretty nice tbh

Ya, Winnipeg gets a much worse reputation than it deserves. Lots of nice places here. Lots of events and cultural stuff like Zeke said too. Obviously there are some crumby areas and many of the streets are rather filthy, but I have to imagine that is the same for most large urban centres.

Ok, I know it's supposed to be the Fringe Festival but I'm surprised that sort of thing was allowed. How the hell do you come up with "Mayonnaise Enemas" anyway? Do you just put a collection of words into a hat, pull two out and decide that's what your act will consist of? Honestly, it is pretty nice here even if you do have some bad areas but you have to expect that with almost any city.
