I hope she aimed to wound that poor wittle wobber. :'(
Malumbre, how do you possibly survive with your brain disconnected from the rest of the body.
Malumbre, how do you possibly survive with your brain disconnected from the rest of the body.
you should ask yourself the same thing
I'm glad someone has the balls to do what the government should do.
shoot people when they try to break in? break into what, the capitol building? [editline]06:01PM[/editline]
you should ask yourself the same thing
I'm not some militant atheist who glorifies killing and nitpicks parts of arguments when a person agrees with them.
I'm glad someone has the balls to do what the government should do.
The government kills people when they break into your house? It's your job to protect your house, and your life, and your assets. Not the government. You can't call the FBI if you see a stranger in your house. If you do, you're dead.
Why are people still arguing over this?
Why are people still arguing over this?
Because it's a debatable topic.
He was armed and posed an immediate threat to her life. She had every legal right to shoot him and did the right thing. I don't care what your opinions are. Had she not shot him, she would mostly likely be dead right now.
He wasn't armed. Yes, because if somehow she wounded him, he was going to try and rape her with one fucking leg.
Wasn't armed, how does she know that? People keep guns in their pockets too you know.
Wasn't armed, how does she know that? People keep guns in their pockets too you know.
No, he said he WAS armed. not that he MIGHT be armed. And you're going to shoot a man because he MIGHT have a gun?
He wasn't armed. Yes, because if somehow she wounded him, he was going to try and rape her with one fucking leg.
This is the real world. Please open your eyes to it. Guns are a LETHAL FORCE. They do not "wound." They kill. If you intend to use less than lethal force, you need to use a less than lethal weapon. You have massive arteries in your thighs and pelvis, even if you shoot someone below the waist with a shotgun, they're going to die very fast. So your little argument of shooting them in the leg is hilariously ignorant of human anatomy. She was informed by the 911 operator that she was in the right position to fire the gun at the attacker. She quite obviously didn't want to kill him, and she did only what she had to do. When he saw the gun he could have ran away. Also, by picking up the table, he was considered armed. [editline]12:32PM[/editline]
No, he said he WAS armed. not that he MIGHT be armed. And you're going to shoot a man because he MIGHT have a gun?
FYI, an old woman is not going to survive a man like that beating her to death with his bare hands. He posed a mortal threat to her life. It doesn't matter if someone is armed or not. Please read the god damned laws.
No, he said he WAS armed. not that he MIGHT be armed. And you're going to shoot a man because he MIGHT have a gun?
If he's in my house, yes. Better safe than sorry.
If he's in my house, yes. Better safe than sorry.
In pretty much every state, it's within your legal rights to shoot someone dead in that situation. This isn't some wild west law or other bullshit like people want to spin it. It's to discourage people from breaking into homes. If you want to break in, you're accepting that you're probably going to die.

Which is why I keep a high caliber sniper rifle, an 8 inch dagger, and a 4 inch punch knife within 3 feet of where I sleep at night.
That's quite brave of her. I don't think I would dare to shoot someone, even if I were in the same situation.
That's quite brave of her. I don't think I would dare to shoot someone, even if I were in the same situation.
You'd rather be shot or beaten, and let him run off unharmed?
wow why didn't she shoot him in the leg or something y'know, a place where he might not die , since she obviously didn't want to kill him
wow why didn't she shoot him in the leg or something y'know, a place where he won't die , since she obviously didn't want to kill him
Shotguns aren't that... accurate. They spray shot a few feet across. Might aim for the leg and hit the person in the chest or stomach too.
This is the real world. Please open your eyes to it. Guns are a LETHAL FORCE. They do not "wound." They kill.
I wasn't aware this was a video game where no matter where you're shot, you die. There is less of a possibility to hit the thighs and pelvis if aim low. And don't put words in my mouth, I already said earlier if it happens to kill him, then it's justifiable. I know what the fucking laws are, I'm SO glad you've read the thread. I'm saying the ideal situation, not berating the women you moron. Well, I for one am absolutely outraged at the treatment this man recieved as a guest in that womans home. What ever happened to the right of a man to enter another persons home and rob them blind without the fear of reprisal or threat of personal injury!? God, what is the world coming to these days...

What the fuck are you still talking about in this thread? You stated your point of view several times.
if you aim for the center of the leg, chances are, all of the pellets will hit the leg they don't spread that much, especially at such a low range
and more than likely one of those pellets is going to hit the major artery in his leg, causing him to bleed out and die in a couple minutes.
and more than likely one of those pellets is going to hit the major artery in his leg, causing him to bleed out and die in a couple minutes.
Yep, you can die from getting shot anywhere in your body.
A shotgun's pretty heavy, aim too low and you're going to put pellets in the floor or just have one hit a foot or something, and he'll still be angry and able to move. Aim too high and shred a leg/thigh artery and he bleeds out in a few minutes. I'd rather take a surefire hit that's going to put him down, and if he dies, well, that sucks but shit happens.
