I honestly can not picture how vacant it must be inside your head right now.
Please, process what I am telling you:
YOU ARE NOT PROVIDING ANY POINTS. YOU ARE USING REDUNDANT LOGIC TO ASSERT A BASELESS IDEA. YOU HAVE YET TO PROVIDE EVIDENCE THAT SHOWS THAT WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IS TRUE.
Er, might want to calm down.
I'm of the understanding that nigh everyone has a sex drive, and therefor is driven to fulfill that desire. And masturbation is the nigh universal method used to fulfill that desire. I've seen a lot of people saying "you know there are asexuals out there". Which is something I'm willing to accept, but I can't really think of any examples.
For example, just going back to Ghandi. The guy would sleep with young women to challenge his own purity. That doesn't sound like the act of an asexual to me. Again, am I just looking at all this wrong?
Christ what the fuck is going on in this thread?
Are we really arguing over whether or not a 60 year old woman masturbates or not?
Really?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asexuality
It's not "widespread", but it does exist. There are people who feel no sexual desire at all.
Like I said, I'm not saying there aren't people who are asexual. Nothing is completely absolute. But the way people in here are talking you'd think it was common knowledge that they made up a good 10% of the population or something.

Well I didn't think it would be such a point of contention.
I don't see what's so weird about that.
People have this idea that there are these amazing guru motherfuckers who've transcended their own sexuality when in reality they're probably even more fucked up in the head sex wise than the average dude. It's this bias towards the idea that sexuality is inherently bad and therefor 'good' people are more disconnected from it.

Yeah. Because it's not true.
I mean, general population wise. I'm sure there are some outliers, but that's outliers. As in statistically non existent.
Yeah I don't know how people don't jerk off, how do they stay calm and relaxed?

Isn't that the same percentage as sociopaths?
I mean I'd still say "everyone feels empathy", just because of how low the number is.
I don't masturbate. Seriously.
I really don't know what to say. I can say with near absolute confidence that everyone who reads this post masturbates.
i don't, better luck next time
The lack of actual stats here is painful so here :
Studies are varied but agree that at least 20% of women dont masturbate. Some studies as high as 60%, but they dont accomodate for bias, due to masturbation being a non preferable trait for women to admit.
Also menopause does effect sex drive heavily, as it is a large influence on hormones. If you dont think hormones control almost all of female sex drive, ask any girl on the depo or pill.
Women do not have the same urges as men, we dont have the same need to ejaculate regularly otherwise we go spurting liquid all over the place unwillingly.
I think if this course was required for her to be a social worker, then whether she read the waiver is irrelevant.

Yes it's a natural urge. But what you seem to be misunderstanding is that for most people it's not that big a deal, the way you make it sound it's something overpowering, consuming, something people must fulfill whenever it strikes them. For most it's just a minor urge, some people can get off perfectly fine not fulfilling it at all, although I see no benefit to that. Almost no people are like how you describe, my assumption is that you are, which makes me think you should see a doctor, you may have hypersexuality.
Oh gosh it's like a bad porno
nvm it's exactly like that one hentai you know the one
I don't know the one, please.... enlighten me.
This really only seems wrong/bad if you feel that sexuality is something that needs to be confined to your own private life in total and should never be spoken of openly, either in an educational sense or in normal life. How is this really any different than asking students to do A B or C, or list A B or C in biology, or history, or a lab or some sort, except that it's sexual? Just because it's sexual doesn't mean that it's now under different rules. It's an educational environment focusing on sexuality, if the student sees a problem in participating in what would normally be standard educational requirements for a lab class only because it's sexual in nature, then she doesn't exactly belong in that class, does she?
I think this chick is putting too much emphasis on grades. If you don't want to do it and get an F, you can still learn a lot of cool shit about sexuality which makes it worth it.
Grades are stupid anyway, don't turn a fun and interesting class into something stressful just to get an A.
Very interesting subject to see my state hit the news with.
Up until the waiver part, I was leaning towards the students view, but there's a reason for the waiver in the first place, so things like that don't happen.

grades are important if you want any kind of degree or specific kinds of qualifications

It's a college course, that she apparently needs to take for her career, so yeah grades do matter.
You know if it is a college course which she needs to take for her career then the whole "She signed the waver" thing loses some credibility. Can you expect her to feel free to walk away from a class that is necessary?
The lawsuit alleges that the professor read the lists aloud to the class and then asked the students to write three 250-word journal entries about their sexual thoughts for homework.
Kubistant also reportedly assigned a 14-page term paper which required students to detail sexual exploration, abuse - including rape - virginity loss, cheating, fetishes and orgasms, among other things, ABC reports.
You guys should join this course and go into detail about dragon dicks and shark tits.
You know who you are.
Or you could just print off that "Satan, guide my cock!" comic and turn it in.
Professor Tom Kubistant allegedly told students that he would "increase their sexual urges to such a height that they won't be able to think about anything other than sex."
Sounds like a hentai.
And while I'd normally understand that you would be afraid of related things for the first year or so, to fear the very concept of sex a long time after an act indicates that haven't gotten the help you need and as a result, you most likely deserve the shortcomings that come with it.
For example, if you got stabbed in the leg and this SERIOUSLY traumatized you, then you might stay away from knives for a few months/a year and this is perfectly understandable. But using your bare hands to tear apart pieces of white hot bacon on the pan when it's been 5 years since you've been harmed by a knife pretty much shows that you're being very cowardly towards facing up to your issues.
Except getting stabbed in the leg doesn't traumatize you like rape does.
And I don't even know what the fuck you're talking about with that bacon crap.

I'm pretty certain that I've seen some videos like this
I would write the most disturbing things in my journals and bald-facedly lie that it turns me on to think about them when I masturbate... Just to see how out there he'll let it get before attempting to fail me...

No, that's fairly new, and the only AV sized picture I could find when I added to my profile. Thanks, though, for presuming because I used to be furry that that makes me a freak.
