Being able to do that much with the limitations of the equipment is astounding. However a loss of human life, ANY life at all, is wrong. I understand wanting revenge because of 9/11 but will that REALLY solve anything? More violence will happen in the future regardless of what we do. Its a cycle called life sadly. There is nothing we can do about it, at least as far as I can tell. Unless we can learn to work together and accept everyone for who they are, this will continue until we are no more.

Are you suggesting the coalition forces deliberately set out to kill as many innocent civilians as they can? Civilians casualites are a fact of war. It's unfortunate, but you cannot escape it. The ISAF try as hard as they can to minimise civilian deaths. There are countless videos and articles online that show how at the very last second, missle strikes have been diverted to open ground or cancelled all together because, either civilian households were nearby, or a civilian appeared.
The Taliban don't hold back. Thousands of innocent people are murdered every year in Afghanistan and neighbouring countries. These are not deaths as a result of people being caught up in a fight. These people are purposely murdered. Whether it be by an IED, or being dragged out of their homes and shot in the street. Girls are mutilated and/or murdered because they want an education. Because they want to escape an abusive relationship with the husbands their fathers forced them to be with when they were children. How can you possibly sit there and think that these vile, disgusting people deserve the right to live after they have deliberately caused so much death and mutilation.
You need a reality check.
And I'd also like to add that I'm not going to take this argument up with you any further. As I read the sniper didn't kill them as a sick morbid game. He was doing his job and if it weren't for him taking out the two, they would have killed his colleagues and possibly more than two deaths would have been the outcome.
It's an amazing feat and goes to show that when needed, humans can pull of some pretty amazing shit.
