No, i'm saying the .50cal is a heavier bullet propelled faster, deadly at long range still but highly unlikely to get a kill shot accurately. The bullet falls at 10M/s due to gravity, Over a kilometer, that's 100M, so 3km=300m, so with the 838m/s fast muzzle velocity, it would hit the ground unless you shoot at an obscure angle.
not that that's the reason there are no longest kill shots with .22's, because that's a weak round.

Speaking literally a .50cal would be likely to get a killshot seeing as the bullet is almost as big as my hand and could probably blow someone's leg off and put them into shock.

Hmm... I'm betting that you're not an American, probably someone of the Christian faith, sheltered by your parents and are still in adolescense. Riddle me this, how accepted are women in the Islam/Muslim/Middle Eastern culture/faith? And may I point out that most of the civilians shot by soldiers of any country usually run into a crossfire while they are panicking, most of the civilians that are actually killed in warzones are actually by the Taliban setting up bombs and IEDs and killing people somewhat accidentally and the other bits are where the taliban/US soldiers simply fire into a house that they think that the Enemy are holed up in, because if they ran into a house to identify if the people in there are civillians or not, because if they do they'll probably get themselves killed. So shut up about a subject that neither of you know nothing about.
This is bullshit, even if he was using stopping power the silencer would have reduced his range heaps. There is no way he could have killed that first guy with a body shot. He wasn't even using a .50cal. If this guys kill record is true though I'm wondering when he is gunna call in his AC130.
