Evolution is a theory, which is something proven by evidence gathered by scientists. Evolution is regarded however by scientists as a fact and a theory. There is no difference in macro and micro evolution, it something used by creationists to critique evolution and debunk it. Micro-evolution is stated as small changes in the gene pool to make small changes to the species, however, changes in the gene pool no matter how small change it into an entirely new species, therefore micro-evolution does not exist. Macro-evolution in contrast states it is a change large enough to change it into a new species. By this logic, micro and macro are one. A note to the scientific division of FP I'm talking about the creationist version of micro/macro, since scientists use the term in a different way.

I'm pretty sure there are enough evidences to say that it was happening and it will continue to happen.

Neither has gravity
Not really it's a good enough way to explain it away for most people. Not even science can properly explain the cause of the big bang.
That isn't a reason for believing in a religion. It's completely meaningless.
If you need a cause (in the physical or "purpose" sense) for everything, trading an event for a named deity with a whole lot of "why" and infinitely more "how" isn't an improvement, it's a downgrade.
Evolution has never been proven, what have you been smoking?
You don't really "prove" evolution. Evolution itself (in other words, the change in groups of organisms over generations) is an observable phenomenon. The THEORY of evolution (probably what you're referring to) is the best explanation we have for this phenomenon.
This is a good point in history.

God has never been proven. Give me a complete evidence of his existence, I want to see him. Oh wait.

When people say this, I always ask them "Can you explain the theory of evolution to me?"
Most of the time they start with "There was a huge explosion where everything came from nothing and..."
Well that's a bit harsh.
WOW JEEZE, I don't support religion being told in school guys I'm just trying to be fair!
Religious studies and Citizenship are both lessons that are taught in the UK by law. It's to teach kids to respect peoples opinions, and from what I've seen, it works pretty well.
no that defeats the point of knowing about evolution

it prevents you from seeing the beauty that complex forms can emerge from simple matter, that the whole of life is the result of a natural implementation of a hill-climbing algorithm
well they don't think it was god but they think some force had to be behind it, that's some of them though.
Good. Putting money into education is an investment made by the country and if people don't take it seriously they shouldn't get any.

That is where I start as well.
I then ask when and where they learnt it.

How dare you
The thing I find funny about religion is that when creationists tell me that there's no proof for evolution occurring, I always tell them that there's no proof for God either. Then they revert to saying "It's all about faith" or they focus back on how evolution doesn't have supporting evidence. I actually remember someone telling me after I told them that (in these exact words) "Ah ah, don't change the subject."
