ISPs literally say there is no demand for 1Gbps internet.
Yeah because you don't fucking sell, nor do you want to pay for the infrastructure. They tell themselves that there's no way Google could roll out Fibre across the whole of the US because it would cause something like $11Bn, but Google will probably keep on doing it until they get off their asses and offer decent internet access (or Google covers the whole country with glass).

I thought everyone knew the difference between megabytes/bits. Like I'd shit myself if I could download at 20 megabytes a second, but my 20 megabit still allows a speedy 2 megabyte connection.
