Nope, According to the SMH its 4.3MB/s http://www.smh.com.au/technology/technology-news/australian-internet-speeds-fall-to-40th-place-globally-20130125-2dazu.html
That's 4.3 megabits, which converts to 0.53 megabytes Mb = Megabit MB = Megabyte
Okay just redid the maths quickly, probably wrong as shit :v: Assuming a 32gb microsd is 0.5g, and a pigeon can carry 75g, they can carry 4800GB of cards Flying 730km from Brisbane to Sydney at an average of 80km/h, they'll arrive in 9.125h 4800gb in 9.125h is 149.63MB/s, the average internet speed in Australia is 0.53MB/s Pigeons are 282x faster than the internet here :v:
Relevant
What the heck. Give me just... I dunno... the extra 13.68Mb/s? That would triple my current download rate.
I get an average of 12 Mb/s and the NBN is coming to where I am in a few months.
I get an average of 12 Mb/s and the NBN is coming to where I am in a few months.
My brother moved to a share house that has the NBN. It is like Willy Wonka's ISP Factory.

(395kb down 65kb up) above is in megabits, a horrible speed for ONLY 120$ a month for BigPond Broadband 200GB Elite - ADSL2+ bundled with the homephone [editline]23rd April 2013[/editline] its weird cause it used to be 600kb/s down and 100kb/s up but it just dropped for some reason and it's not going higher.

Since we're showing speeds.
yeah I don't know why it's no longer dropping out (so far) but slower 750-800kb/s down 100-120kb/s up was speed we used to get, and now it's that. hell my exchange is CLOSER than a friends exchange and they get faster speeds than we do (1mb/s to 2.5mb/s) my friend is telling me it's because i'm on a RIM (no idea hwat that is) and it's slowing it down

I am on one myself, although it has been upgraded so I can get full 24Mbit sync speed, which I do get. Basically what it is, instead of having to build another exchange to service an area, a fiber optic cable is rolled out to the RIM. This RIM then splits the fiber optic connection between however many houses. What it mean, is that you are indirectly connected to the exchange, and this will effect your speed and latency. Most RIMs can't get ADSL2 until they are upgraded, therefore having extremely slow speeds. Chances are you like quite away from the RIM as well. Further slowing down the speed.
