He's quite a strange form of activist, almost Gman-like (as in he randomly appears in places). He's projecting an important message, though.
This guy is awesome, a perfect plan executed perfectly. I'd say it was successful. I've only seen him once or twice on the news in BBC America.
I'm pretty sure that completely negates his point. He's trying to get people to accept and deal with other people, even if they aren't perfect bodied, good looking people. In reality, its an honest, worthwhile cause. And besides, how many of you are going to go around saying Gabe Newell, who is quite likely much bigger than this guy, needs to stop eating and go to the gym?
you're right
I think he makes a valid point. Good on him. I hope to see him make a bigger impact somehow.
How exactly are fat people discriminated against in the media? Some of the best and most famous comedians are fat people. If he really wanted to do this protest, and he wanted it to mean something, he'd show up in the background of fashion shows and whatnot - not the news.
i always wanted to be able to appear in the background of whatever i wanted just because i can
This has just left me wondering how he knows when and where the BBC will be broadcasting each time. Creepy.
I want to see what he does when the media starts following him instead of him following them media.
Thats a bit creepy and sad.
If he's mad about being fat then he should just start taking his bicycle to work= problem solved and he won't be stowed away. Fat isn't an illness, it's a solution to Winter and Famine. none of which affects obese people in the western world.
If I were him, I would be doing all kinds of fucking cool stuff, do one complete Michael Jacksons dance set from one of his music videos, breakdance, do magic tricks, try balancing a ball ontop of my head. Generally just being awesome

Generally just being awesome
That defeats the purpose by drawing attention to him. His whole point is that he and many others are being ignored simply because of who they are, and they shouldn't have to do something extravagant for someone to give a damn. Not-So-Slenderman.
He's like, the exact opposite of Slenderman :v:
HNNNNG after I read the OP I IMMEDIATELY went down here to post that. God, why did I not see this thread sooner.
Slenderman got fat.
Waiting for someone to make his face their avatar.
He's in the same clothes in each picture.
omg boohoo i'm too lazy to walk anywhere or prepare proper food i have a disease treat me like a cancer or aids victim
If it were me, I'd do it in a suit and black trenchcoat, black trilby and leather gloves, and black Wayfarers. I'd have a Zero Halliburton briefcase in one hand.

Personally I'm sick of fat people bitching as though they're stuck with a life long disease. I mean seriously. It's not like you're gay, black, ginger, etc. where you're stuck like that for the rest of your life and you get discrimination for it, instead, get up off your asses and start exercising. Also, this isn't about not being the best looking, this is about being fat, something reversible by anyone. This isn't about someone with a funny face, an odd nose, big ears, or anything else that people have to accept because they can't help it. If you want people to stop discriminating against you, lose weight. Because unlike the mentioned gays, blacks, gingers, and anyone else in the world who can't help their problems, you can, but you choose not to and instead want everyone to accept the fact that you refuse to help your own situation.

Everyone is equal until they start being different, then we should abuse them.
Conform or die, right? Everyone is equal until they start being different, then we should abuse them.
You missed the point. They can help their situation but refuse not to. That's why I don't like it. Not because they're fat, I don't give it a shit about them being fat. It's the ones that bitch about how they get occasional flak for it rather than accept that they have a problem, are the ones that piss me off.

He's not bitching about being fat, he pretty clearly accepts it. He's bitching about people treating him and others like they are lesser beings. Its discrimination in its simplest form. Just because someone is overweight doesn't mean you suddenly have the right to abuse treat them like they are inferior or not worthy. And no, there are people who are genuinely bigger than others, just as there are people who are genuinely smaller than others.
Lol. Its just some fat guy standing behind them.
Rise and shine Mr. Freeman, rise and *falls on floor, has heart attack*
Damn, i really want to get a tie, blue suit, suitcase and sort my hair out and just find the next live news report and stand in the background before walking off.
Same Jumper on in every picture...
