If it helps you sleep at night thinking that you are on some sort of a moral high ground because you missed out on it then go ahead.
Don't try to push it on others though.
Edit:
I remember that program, got a bitchslap from Valve for using that.
I remember all the "CHEATER (apparently)" banners everyone had at the time.
I still have my avatar that has "DOESN'T CARE, Fuck Off" slapped on it somewhere
Bulletstorm, Crysis Warhead and Dead Space 1-2, pretty much the only games I haven't played.
I'm not sure which is worse on the people who are worried about removal, the fact that they kept the offer up so long meaning tons of people had it or if they had closed it fast and only a handful had found out, probably the handful, but with the mass amounts of people with multiple games EA is going to have a stupid plan probably.
Wow! 35 pages already! This thread is crazy.
what the fuck the code i got with medal of honor is apparently already used or not a correct key.
they can disable the cdkey in most cases, which will either make the game completely unplayable, or the mp unplayable.
One would probably need a crack to get the single player to work on a fresh install.
Bulletstorm, BC2, dragon age: origins/awakening/2
Overall i got what i wanted. :v:
Since this is pretty much a general Origin thread now, anyone figure out how to get to the Multiplayer on Medal of Honor? I can't tell if I clicked the wrong thing or not because all I have is Singleplayer and Tier 1.
[editline]e[/editline]
Infact it's not even starting up anymore, it just does the syncing cloud data thing after I click play and nothing happens.
[editline]e[/editline]
and now I'm getting this

tier 1 should be multiplayer. if it's not, back out of the game and restart it and select multiplayer through the launcher.

use your origin email that you have the game on.
use your origin email that you have the game on.
Oops. I have too many Origin accounts now, forgot what one I was on :V
Thanks.
Anyone know where I can find the Crysis Sandbox? Can't seem to find it anywhere, and Google isn't helping.
A bit surprised to see no action taken yet.
I almost half expect weeks to go by until some form of official action occurs, if any, given how long it took them to take down the code.

Go to Crysis on your Origin client, hover over it, hit the i and proceed to scroll down and download 'Crysis Editor', Prophet.

There should have been much more publication. The fact that hundreds of people ran off with free games and none of the large video game 'journalists' have covered this, proves even further that EA bribes 90% of gaming journalism.
EA is obviously trying to prevent their pitiful stocks from falling further through damage control.
I guess they were too busy buying journalists to not report this major event than to fix the exploit in the first place.

I bet they're gone by Monday.
Even if EA bans my origin account, I've only 'bought' Battlefield 2142, which does not require origin to run.
They would have to jump through some real hoops to find the EA account that has the game to my origin account. And I seriously doubt EA has the programming capability to do so.
EA - October 12: accidentally makes half of their games free - still hardly fixed
Valve - October 13: people find a way to prank people by changing their avatar - fixed within the hour

Or, if you want the official, latest Cryengine3 sandbox:

Forbes isn't known for quality coverage on vidya.
Oh shit I just woke up and apparently the code doesn't work anymore?
Man, I really wanted to try bf2142 :suicide:
I got the sims 2 double deluxe and sims 2 university life collection :D
Darn, I wanted Darksiders. Oh well.
Not sure if this means no punishment for those who abused the system but
Hi everyone,
The coupon code is now expired; we’ll honor all sales made with the coupon code over the weekend and hope fans enjoy their games.
Thanks,

Holy fuck it really is a conspiracy for them to get more long term users. No retaliation, AT ALL?
