To be honest it's almost impossible to target and damage airfield capacity these days. Considering how almost every highway there has been built so that it can act as an airfield runway.

They really took allied bombing to heart I guess.

And there's very little attacking those american bases would do to be honest. Apart from the Germany most likely pressing on the EUC to set up european battlegroups to aid the NATO in any conventional war with Iran.

Iran wouldn't do this, they know NATO is all ready and eager to get in there and ruin their shit.

They wouldn't do anything that would give NATO the green light, right now they have some support on their side(like the fact that having nuclear plants isn't a reason to attack and that's pretty much what's keeping us from attacking them), but if Iran strikes first they lose that and any ground they have and they're fucked.
