The XBOX Collective and the PS3mpire are in unending war. The balance is undisturbed, until one day, the PCs invade. Directed by Michael Bay
What began as a conflict over the transfer of entertainment from machines to flesh escalated into a war which has decimated a million homes. The XBOX and the PS3 have all but exhausted the resources of a world in their struggle for domination. Both sides now crippled beyond repair, the remnants of their fanboys continue to battle on ravaged forums, their hatred fueled by over ten years of total war. This is a fight to the death. For each side, the only acceptable outcome is the complete elimination of the other.
Adam Sandler would be Activision with Rob Schneider being Call of Duty
Fleeing from its pursuers, the Wii frantically tries to force its motion controls to comply with the door (no matter how often people keep telling it to drop that habit), while behind it in the hallway XBOX360 and PS3 are running towards the Wii, eager to rip it off as brutally as possible. The race between the two seems clear as the XBOX360 collapses on the ground and dies in its own piss, but just as the PS3 points and laughs at the red rings of death, it itself collapses from game-undernourishment under the weight of expectations stemming from its hardware. In the distance, a faint voice from PC who just needs to download ooone more driver hotfix and do a swift .ini edit to enable widescreen resolutions, then it can finally join the race after a couple months delay while waiting for its ports.
100 bucks says it will be a documentary with crappy anti-Nintendo and anti-Xbox jokes.
Actually, seeing a movie about the console war between the SNES and Sega Genesis would be pretty cool if they treated it like "The Social Network" or something. Concepts like these can be done right, they just rarely are.
With just that war? They could talk about the evolution of the war like chapters. The beginning of Atari The Video Game Crash The rise of Nintendo The 16 bit era The 3rd Dimension The fall of Sega And others...

And in the social network format would make it very interesting
Playstation wins.
The issue is that Sony would have too much to gain from misrepresenting the Playstation by failing to acknowledge it's flaws
I think they should only go far as the dreamcast, the reason why the dreamcast failed was because of the PS2 having a DVD player and the DC using CD-ROMS. Also another reason is how EA refused to make any sport games to the DC which caused sega to make their own series but because everyone enjoyed major teams the PS2 won the hearts of sport fans. This is why I think now it'd be a very interesting movie.

With the last words before the credits being "And so, with the failure of the Dreamcast causing Sega to stop making consoles, a new era of more advanced consoles starts, with the PS dominating over them all."
and then it turns out the ps3 has no soldiers
The XBOX Collective and the PS3mpire are in unending war. The balance is undisturbed, until one day, the PCs invade. Directed by Michael Bay
Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished.
spoiler alert: ouya wins the war by having the beautiful graphics and processing power of a high end android phone
And when the PC Alliance goes to war the Macs are the first to be lost. Their weaponry is found to require more complicated fabrication techniques, doesn't follow the standards set by the others in the Alliance, and is prohibitively expensive to mass produce during a time of total war. The Independent Linux Coalition is second to officially fall, but maintains a vicious guerrilla war in the background.
The Pirates of Silicon Valley but instead of 2 greasy nerds from the 80s it's 3 greasy nerds from the 90s
A. Not everybody has the money to pay $400+. B. What would 8-year-old boys argue about then?
$400? Assuming this is in correlation to Xbox, an Xbox and all the parts needed costs around $250, and now people who are usually in this kind of "debate", are people who have it easy because they feel they have to time to actually argue about stupid shit like this. Someone who suffer for cash shouldn't be buying either machines, and usually have other things on their mind. The people who argue about this kind of shit are people who probably; 1. Live with their parents and get money and things for free seeing as they have one of the consoles. 2. Have enough money to buy and stubbornly support one side of the spectrum 3 Don't have enough money to support both sides and idiotically waste time on one side instead of focusing energy and time into other more productive things. Do you honestly think anyone besides an idiot or a 10 year old would actually indulge in shit like this?
I want to know which actor would play each Console. let's cast this movie.
Nicolas Cage as the PS3. Steven Seagal as Xbox 360. Jack Black as Wii. Robert De Niro as PC.
What about Consolewar.xxx?
The XBOX Collective and the PS3mpire are in unending war. The balance is undisturbed, until one day, the PCs invade. Directed by Michael Bay
Wait, what is the Wii then? A empire enslaved by the PC's?
I see two outlines, a story of the PC master race oppressing the dirty lower class consoles in a 1984-esque dystopia, or a documentary detailing the continuous competition of companies to churn out better hardware and detail the techniques, successes, and failures of the competing systems.
Its going to be 50% little kids spouting "ITS BETTER BECAUSE IT HAS BLUE RAY"
When PC shows up to the battle, they'll get hauled off because the feds found out that PC stole copies of their soldiers.
Predicting Pro-Playstation propaganda. Worst case scenario is that it goes viral, and i feel like i've got to take a look. I always trick myself like that, egoraptor episodes of the tester, eugh i felt dirty for weeks...
Wait, what is the Wii then? A empire enslaved by the PC's?
The Nintendo Republic was a bright and prosperous nation that had existed since the earliest of recorded history. When the war between the two other power started the Republic initially had the advantage of numbers and resources. After some time the Republic was doomed to fail, as it had inferior technological prowess than the others and had only lasted as long as it did in the war through sheer numbers and clever tactics. The Republic is now formally defeated, but in reality it's biding it's time, waiting for it's next technological breakthrough to strike back at the other two powers. There are whispers and rumors of a secret military project, codenamed "WiiU."
CONSOLE WARS : THE MOVIE Whoever wins... We lose I'm putting my bet on it being one of those 'reality dramas' like 'hackers 2' or 'Flash of Genius', you know?
consolewars.xxx
Maybe it'll be like Gamer but on a bigger and more stupid scale.
Maybe it's a documentary
Okay a console war on the internet between two users is annoying... But if you're making a movie about this, you deserve your mouth tapped.
I just imagine 3 monkeys throwing shit at eachother violently screeching while PC sits on a throne of games laughing at them, then Gabe tosses peanuts at them for amusement
warofconsoles.com What now sony [editline]27th August 2012[/editline]
Such a retarded term for a higher clockspeed, its sad that it actually worked.
You know, that was the one statistic the Genesis was better in. And kids are easy to manipulate. So Sega was clever, and decided to win the kid's console war to have them want Megadrives through making that advert. IT HAS BLAAAAAST PROCESSING
