I'm not sure the guy did anything wrong, her address should have been on her license...which she showed the cop. Doesn't seem like a lawsuit is required or fair for the cop, I feel bad.
its still an abuse of his power as a cop considering he wouldn't have had the information without being a cop
So if I'm a barista at starbucks, and I learn a girls name when she gives me her order, is that an abuse of power if I use that info to ask her out?
So if I'm a barista at starbucks, and I learn a girls name when she gives me her order, is that an abuse of power if I use that info to ask her out?
Because using someone's name to ask them out is clearly the same as going into a database to find someone's address, and then leaving a note on their car. Anyway that cop sounds adorably harmless. A little creepy, but perhaps a lawsuits wasn't warranted.

For all we know, he remembered it from when he looked at her license.
any photos to see how hot she was?
-snip-
It should be a requirement for cops to have the balls to ask a person out on the spot or at least in person. Leaving a note is some grade school shit.
